Earlier in this post @Civilize_85ers mentioned Facebook latam and I had give some examples of some similar sub communities I’ve seen within the gears community that have been left out.
I came to the realization earlier when I was thinking about how such a huge portion of players in gears 5 are a part of the Latin community yet they don’t have any support in the forums.
They shut any post written in Spanish down and close their thread and say the forums don’t support any other language. Surprises me they still don’t have any support in the forums for that. In stream I know they bring on people that talk in Spanish but really to speak about the changes in place and not so much about opinions…
Just thought ide point that out there, so much of the community doesn’t even have a voice or proper place to be recognized for their voice. TC tells people to go to socials to go to the forums, Dana oversees everything with all these tools to get general sentiment yet how when so many people are left out. What are your thoughts?

This is the exact kind of stuff that the new tuning has promoted. My friend @TC_Dave was playing and he couldn’t even throw a nade over cover.
He raged shortly after this and uninstalled gears 5. New tuning? More like BROKEN

So I’m gonna write down my thoughts after 5 games to igjt with my buddy. I said I’d only play if someone came on.
The core issues with this game remain. One guy had ping rotating between 60 and 700…he eventually left the game.
Few games you had the one team advantage feing going on.
You still are killed on the same manners as before. Wrap shots, up a slides, back a pop shots, crossing from lancers and whatnot. I was killed a few times by people and you would think I moved and fired my gun but nope. Zero animation on there part and I was dead. So the idea you can now see how you die is wrong.
Weapons…you can tell the lancer is a little weaker. Torque is a little slower, shotguns seem the same.
Movement…ugh .it’s like claymation in a sense. I feel my controller struggling against this movement a lot. Whether it be roadie running, wall bouncing, slides, strafe, looking over a way or just turning your character. I stick to everything still.
I had my moments where I could slide around cover to cover but it still felt like I had someone holding me back with a rope.
I’d say really the lancer and bow need to be reverted back. Speed needs to revert and maybe leave the rest?
Hammerburst is worthless now.
But overall the game feels sluggish. How anyone can say this is better is beyond me. It’s not.

Every time I play this game it just gets worse and worse .
You’re not even killed by skill no more is literally hard aim and you get a kill from 10feet away or your gnasher can down a player from the same distance you would use a lancer to down someone .
You get pulled back off cover so you get hit .same when you get downed in cover it drags you out of cover so the player can kill you .
It’s literally at tuning for silver players .
I’ve been nerfed for thinking fast and smart while being accurate with shots .
To pressing buttons , feeling like a snail with a shotgun which is so inconsistent ,it’s beyond believe.
And the aim assist haha it’s even worse .Itseems stronger now because you move so slow .
You’ve added all this delays yet a up a is so fast ?? It’s mind blowing how that aint been recognised.

It’s as simple as not turning it on. Personally I haven’t touched the game since the update. Recommend everyone do the same.

Yeah I was quoting what Dana said in their developer stream. The fact that the game is free-to-play in February for Xbox Gold tells me the exact opposite. Reeks of desperation to bring in players to justify their ill-conceived choices. TC has been trying to push their “direction” of the game for some time at this point. Such factors or those decisions include the damage indicator, eliminations, and numerous others. They also have a tendency to dismiss claims against changes the studio makes almost condescendingly.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Developer Tuning playlist was simply a vehicle for TC to make the changes that they were receiving a lot of flak on. By slowly introducing it and claiming there was good player feedback they are able to instill the changes that they want rather than the players. Anybody who played this tuning knows that there was not a ton of players opting for the playlist and that there is no formal way of collecting player feedback once they’ve played. If TC were actually interested in any sort of truth or data they would insert a survey in game for players exiting the playlist for the first time. Then they could proceed to show as the data that justifies their decisions.
Rather than implementing this bit of data collection they simply fabricate whatever claims they need to move the pendulum in the direction they want it to go. The only time this backfires is when players truly quit the game and the player-count drops to levels that they need to explain to their superiors. After all, less players equals less microtransactions.
I implore anyone that dislikes the direction the game has been taken to stop playing and attempting to adapt to the new tuning. They take that data of you playing and use it to justify that you are pleased with the update. Alternatively, I implore TC to stop hiding under the guise of transparency when they are anything but transparent. Implement a legitimate way to harvest feedback and show us the data that it yields. If there is anything that people should have learned over the last several years is not to believe anything until you see the data.

Agreed , maybe simple poll/vote inside a game would be nice, most of my friends including me didnt even play beta playlist becouse we use to have fun playing Ranked gamemodes .
Agreed , now TC is tricking us some phony numbers , my frienlist players who actually played a lot before this tuning are now playing less or not at all , and around 39 dislike this tuning and only 1 Like it and on his defence i have to say that he dont play much Gears these days .

A conspiracy theory would be saying that you are simply someone hired by TC and perhaps they’re colluding with Russia or China?! Neither of which do I believe. That term is thrown around far too often these days.
I’m simply questioning the motive of a company that has made a series of poor decisions on this particular iteration in the series. Companies these days know that they can’t show the slightest admission of wrongdoing. In this instance it would be that player counts did decrease after the update. Doing so means they will immediately have to back-pedal on their decision. Surely TC put a lot of work into this tuning as they have for a lot of parts of Gears 5 that were reverted or disappeared. Do you think they want to have to do it on a tuning they spend a considerable amount of time and manpower on?
Questioning what you are told is an indicator of critical thinking. I’m sorry that appear to lack that skill.
