I forgot there were daily limits to liking posts.
Too bad there isn’t a nerf limit per update.

Oh man i can’t wait to see the rage and additional backlash on the weekend XD
They Thanosed gears 5!!
“Thanos Coalition”
LMFAO!!! So trueee
You do realise those numbers report exclusively players who use Steam to play Gears 5, right? This does not account for Microsoft Store or Xbox players.
The Steam population has always been a minute fraction of the playerbase.
But the way you go around spamming this everywhere makes me believe this is just bait.
While this completely true, there’s only a small chance the MS Store version gets played more than the Steam version. Game Pass has done quite a bit for its adoption, but for so many PC gamers Steam is synonymous to PC gaming, it’s not even funny.
Do you realize that those were mostly players enjoying the hivebusters dlc, right?
Like I’ve posted in other thread, I’m not particularly bothered by the new tuning but I know a lot of players are.
Think TC might have to reconvene around that boardroom table ASAP
That’s the whole thing isn’t it…the “high level pros” want this and that…it’s very debatable whether this is competitive or not. I’m not going to debate any of that because I don’t wish to play to that absurd level. Although I do play a lot when I’m off work. I’d also love to see some of the players on here that want the past tuning VS the new tuning pros on THIS tuning duke it out…whoever wins gets the tuning for the game haha.
The thing is though it isn’t fun to play. When your game isn’t fun to play, what’s the point?
How much of those stats for December take into account people playing the new DLC? Still looks way above previous months.
Lol nice click bait Swagg.
Wow, the player base has MORE THAN DOUBLED since November! Keep up the good work and growth, TC!
I get what you’re getting at, but saying that the ‘player base halved in just 3-5 hours’ isn’t really a reliable base. For all we know, the internet went out in half of the USA and is responsible for that drop. You’ll have to wait like a month to make more of a reliable conclusion.
You really don’t need that much time tho.
It just fell from the top 50 most played games on xbox live in the U.S. the day it dropped.
It went from 30-35 to not making the list at all. If the internet went out they would all drop or the list wouldnt change.
people do not like and are quitting due to this tuning.
Of course, the new tuning would be the easiest and most likely suspect because it is an update that has a significant impact on playing the game. But you cannot exclude other variables (heck, perhaps people are turning their TV on now to watch the start of the impeachment hearings). The number of active players might drop today but suddenly increase significantly tomorrow. If for example two weeks after the release of this new tuning the number of active players is still significantly lower than before the update, it becomes more reliable to say that the new tuning is the most likely reason for the drop in active players and a clear signal that people don’t appreciate the changes.
I only play PvE but god this is stupid slow(after I did an objective in Coop vs AI). It feels like I’m watching something in slow motion while characters swap their weapons like they’re taking a casual Saturday stroll by the lake and run as if they’re over 100 kgs with weights strapped to their boots and haven’t had proper exercice in some years. If they bring it over to PvE as well for “consistency”, well, I don’t see how that would even make sense for it while we are super fragile to the point of going down in 1-4 shots to pretty much everything.
I wouldn’t be touching PvP if I’d been playing it beforehand.
1,500 to 800 population is still something not to be ignored.
Regardless the population doesn’t enjoy it.
This is a great translation to player pool.
Hive buster did bring back some players but the month before that they were trending upward.
They just fell off a cliff with this tuning.
I would edit that thread title to reflect your actual stance. Sarcasm doesn’t always work on the internet
It looks like you prefer the new tuning if you don’t dig into the thread.
