They really don’t care.

Been questioning beta op4 about TDM and how terrible the removal of squads were.

You’d think they’d listen to a PvP player with the highest k/d ( for the amount of games I played), top player, at master level but nah…

They rather listen to some dingus pro or social media player who hasn’t dedicated time to the mode like me.

They still haven’t.

That’s crazy isn’t it?

I’m not asking for anything. Just to change it to squads.

They can’t even do that nor does anyone from TC come here to try to talk to us or understand us.

We have Sera but I want someone who modifies these changes to educate us as to why & not be stubborn if we try to have a conversation if we disagree. But we’re not priority, they go to Twitter where every change is more praised…

To be on the Gears forums means we want to benefit the game or talk to fellow people who are just as passionate about gears.

Anyone can make a Twitter. But not everyone comes to the forums to try to see what’s up with this game or have “gears” talk.

That’s wild.

They won’t even listen to a real top PvP ranked TDM specialist about his mode. But they’ll bend for Avexys or some pro who doesn’t dedicate half the time to the mode I have.

I knew all the top 100 players of tdm & more. But hey. That doesn’t matter…

In the end they do whatever they want to do.

Really pisses me off how much they ignore a passionate fan who does this for free…

Do wht im doin.

DONT PLAY AT ALL. UNTIL we get a revert or 2 tunings.

To the players tht DISLIKE this slow af tuning.
You have to Take action or ACTUALLY take NO ACTION and not play.

When TC sees the play base drop to all time lows.

Maybe then OUR VOICES will be heard.

Until. Ill be trolling these forums until i see somekind of good news. A revert.
Preferably op.2 tuning movement

This part so many times over. This game cannot afford to lose any more of it’s player base.

I can’t say anything about the tuning yet as I have yet to play it. I’m not gonna judge anything based solely on the patch notes. Yes I see a lot of downtuning with weapons and speed but that doesn’t mean the game has automatically become unplayable.

Not unplayable at all but for somes (like me) it is really hard to move to a quick game to a Slow of War. I feel the games boring, just make too many time for cross a big map.

I’m gonna have to try it and see. If it’s the same tuning that was in the dev playlist back in Dec it didn’t feel all that slow. Yes, it was noticable that it was changed but not too bad. I saw some people saying it was like running through quicksand which, to me, seemed like an over exaggeration.

It’s definitely slow. While running through quicksand may be an exaggeration it’s also a good way to explain that it feels very sluggish.

Not a fan of the tuning so I won’t play it. I may play Horde once in a while so I won’t uninstall it but that’s about it. Although I could uninstall it because it’s only a 15 minute download time, LOL.

I imagine the feeling to be similar to playing a game (even this one) at 30 or 60fps and then going to play it on a next gen console at 120fps. Good analogy/comparison?

Sluggish as in all movement or just the fact that the Up A, Back A, and wraparound shot don’t work as well as they used to?

I come here to find good discussions about the game or answer any questions people have. Kind of draining seeing all “I’m quitting forever” threads from cyber Karen’s. Voicing a productive opinion on something is good. Having a keyboard tantrum on the other hand is poopy

I am not a big PVP player but I firmly believe it is another important piece of GOW and those who play it should voice their complaints. TC listened to the PVE complaints about crappy horde that the game launched with, there is no reason they should not do what the PVP people want.

Game instantly fell out of the most played top 50 games right after update.

Those that are unhappy just have to abandon the game.

Game just fell out of the top 50 most played games in the U.S Xbox list.

Was 30-35 with the new dlc recently causing a spike.

I’ve been posting on here for a while insisting for a while that they show us the data on the feedback on this tuning. Then they never respond, but continue to insist that it’s the next best thing since baked bread. What absolutely kills me is that they have consistently tried the Gears of War 1 style gameplay and it has backfired or died early every time. Look at all your one-life execution style modes or even Gears of War Ultimate.

I am one of the Gears players that frustrates the living hell out of all my friends. All I ever really want to play is Gears. Been that way since I was a kid and all we had was dial-up internet. I’d go to play Gears of War 2 at my grandmother’s on the weekend and was like top 200 wingman. Those days are no more.

I was just talking to a buddy about how the game’s potential for fun is really limited now. I used to spend 99% of my time in PvP, but I won’t touch it with a 10ft pole now. I’ll admit they did PvE a solid in Operation 5. Though after I finish the dailies there isn’t much drive left to keep playing.

It’s a damn shame.

TC can “fix” the tuning all they want, but the issue is hit detection. They can fudge damage values and distance dropoff and movement or whatever all they want but if the underlying issue is hits refusing to register then no amount of tuning will fix flawed code.

Exactly. The current scenario is: “We made these changes and no one is allowed to ask why. We are not open for discussion.”

We would like to know the reasoning behind the new tuning, and what decisions influenced it.

The sad news is, the tuning is going to be changed again, there is absolutely no consistency at all.

@GuiltyCrisis Many console players don’t like playing against PC players too, so they turn ‘Ranked Crossplay’ option to OFF.

So PC players can’t find a match and that too contributes towards the low playerbase.
