Well you know what Iāll be honest, I have gave them credit in the past. I was very open minded about this tuning, hence why I commented on your game over thread.
But when something has got to be said itās said. I hold my hands up, theyāve messed up big time, Iām now on the dark side on this.
In my opinion they should have left it as it was. I didnāt really mind the beta tuning as much when it was in testing stage but now its been implemented it feels totally different.
The Gnasher feels really clunky as well. Characters are eating bullets more so now than ever 
Well for me, without jumping on the bandwagon and just saying itās trash without playing it for a significant amount of hours would be unfair. Iāve played it, Iām not a fan, now Iām voicing an opinion. No problem with that the way I see it.

Why do I have to adapt again , Iāve done it for 5 years straight ! All through gears 4 through to gears 5

And seen how people play it and itās rubbish hard aim sit in cover the longest . Up a out of every cover
Pressing buttons on your controller to get zero output on your screen . Gears evolved yet weāre going back in time again . People need to realise past was the past and move on

I have never in my life posted on here but I signed in just to say this:
I have played Gears of War since Gears 1. I had the āSeriouslyā achievement and everything, Iām masters in ranked on gears 5 and have been a die hard fan for Half my lifeā¦ I just uninstalled after playing this updateā¦ you lost me guys. I even defended you through all the hate in the beginning, but this was devastatingā¦ to all the ones disagreeing, enjoy the series.
The problem I have with this drastic change in tuning is theyāre doing this to a game thatās already a year old and had a foundation of what kind of game it was. What im trying to say is that theyāre trying to make it a different game with whats already established in this one. The maps and mechanics are way different then Gears 1 yet theyāre trying to make a hollow attempt at recreating Gears 1 through Gears 5 design. They should have just kept Gears 5 doing its thing and if they wanted to try their hands at fully realizing their vision of 4v4 slow gameplay stuff then they should have saved all that for Gears 6 with its own mechanics and playstyle.

You see this is really frustrating to hear. We shouldnāt be losing players like this, we all want the franchise to have a long healthily life, not to be losing fans by the hour after this update.

You heard me , post polls on every social media outlet you use to collect the data about this tuning !
Example
Advise this over the next few days then have the ballot day Monday next week .
Then post the decision once collected and put the tuning in the game on the Friday
Easy aināt it ?
Then every week after that choose a aspect of the game to decide what gets changed
Eg. Running speed one week then weapon damage of a certain weapon another etc etc
Be on gears 4 tomorrow when itās finished downloading,
No tuning issues on that, gears 5 can take a complete backseat
Just finished 5 FFA matches, what can I say?
Wellā¦ before this tuning I always felt that feeling of rushing my opponents, especially when hit 20 out 30 kills when the bell starts ringing and background music changes, and god, at that moment you could actually feel the sweat.
Now I felt like I was in a retirement home where everything was silent, people were camping around, wall sitting, bot walking, no battle engagementā¦ now new players are taking enforcer to get some damage!!!
Then I did some quick play Koth and was worse than worse, the feeling of shooting behind a cover with the fast-shoot- is completely gone, the bounce-can-shoot has also gone, now all you see is players doing up aās shoot and bot walking
I think I will take a break until the old movement is restored ( if this will ever happen) because I canāt see why to slow down everything, maps are fairly large and during Koth, you gotta be fast capturing the ring and now I have to move like a sloth to go all the way to the other side of the map.
āāHow to ruin at least a playable gameāā a TC story, now available.
