Terrible Input Lag on Gears 5

So since day one of my purchase, I have had terrible, random input lag. It only happens when playing with my Xbox One controller as far as I can tell. I have tried using the controller wireless (Bluetooth and Xbox USB Adapter) and wired. I tried all four of my controllers and even bought a brand new controller on day two with no luck. I have tried going through each setting in the Video section and either turned it on low or off completely with no luck. No matter what I do, the problem still occurs and I have exhausted my routes to troubleshoot the issue. If anybody has any suggestions or ideas, they would be very well appreciated!..it would also be nice, and unfortunate, to know if this problem exists for anybody else playing Gears 5 (purchased through Steam). I haven’t had a single problem with my less powerful gaming laptop so I’m fortunate in that aspect, but I am baffled nonetheless.

I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, updated to the latest release (436.30). My CPU is an Intel Core i5-6600K @ 3.50GHz. I have two G.Skill Ripjaw V Series DDR4 8Gb RAM. Everything is updated, GPU and CPU are overclocked, and my OP is Windows 10 64-bit.

I only notice the input lag when doing the active reload. Its frustrating.

But i do think you have to be more specific of when you experience the input lag. And how severe.
It sound so wierd that you dont have an input lag on your laptop but on your gaming pc.
lower the graphics. Remove g-sync/freesync

The game freesez and crashes: I did a post about it: Game freezes and crashes on PC version
I have game pass ultimate and I was planning to buy the game on Steam but if the game is broken, I won’t buy it.

Update: The lag is only an issue on the Steam version of Gears 5 for me, even after uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I bought the Xbox Game Pass and downloaded the ultimate edition from the Windows Store and I had no issues with input lag and even better performance/FPS. The only issue I have with the Windows Store is the Error: GW502, which crashes the game. The error states that the GPU has stopped working…but it only appears to happen to Gears 5 when playing on the Windows Store. It also only occurs when I go to play a Ranked Match, every other part of the game works fine.
The input lag from the Steam version is occurs very often to the point that it is unplayable, but the weird part is it happens without any rhyme or reason…there is no pattern to it.
