I play with 4 people. and quickplay almost never finds us decent competition.

The mode needs squads…
I liked it at first but once you get higher ranked you’re at the mercy of the randoms…

Lol yeah you’re right I can’t get master in TDM now. I have a life, so I don’t have time to grind out video games. That’s all this rank system is — a grind.

I would like TC to answer this simple question in a stream.
“Why can’t you play as a team in team death match.”
Then I will understand there logic going forward to whether I’m going too play the game anymore.

They will just say to stop camping but they never play tdm they just read feedback and change it,
They need to learn that on tdm you need ur full squad communicating to win games it’s been like that since gears 5 release you can’t win a game with half a team talking i don’t know how they haven’t realised that.

I’d rather see such setup in KOTH than TDM now!
4vs4 KOTH with solo or duo is more appropriate due to the map’s design, ring rotations, and the full squad setup who tend to abuse such mechanics with lancers.

I’d debate their credibility after addling slower slide speed that no one even requested.
There should be an official poll to back them up, so I guess they want an exit by saying that!
P.S: OP2 tunning was the pinnacle of Gears 5 as per the most of the community here, now it’s back to rubbish.

They don’t need facts. You can’t slam it in the forums without proof or it gets removed.
It’s a no win situation.
On a side note gears is now 41st place most played game. Fifa 19 at 3rd. Shows how much trouble gears 5 is in. They have too adress there bad situations soon or there game will fall of the 50th lol.

TC, f you are reading this, kindly note that quitting rate is off the chart even for a player like me who stopped playing versus and back recently and it is quite frustrating, thus I would feel all the players who are in a good rank placement, matchmaking with solo or duo created more problems than solving it for TDM.
Either all modes should be unified as the current settings, or revert TDM back.

According to TC it’s about 50/50.
The game fell down the charts which is a proven fact but that means nothing apparently

When they forced us to play king that’s when there was an uproar on facing squads…
Instead they modify TDM as a result of the out cry to King treating them as equal modes when they’re not…
I didn’t mind with duo squads but after ranking up to diamond it really is hard to surpass that because your success depends on the mercy of randoms…
King matches last 30 minutes or longer so yeah stacks is dumb when it’s nothing but lancering for 30+ minutes camping a hill, seldom gnasher.
But tdm never had that issue. My matches always lasted 12-15 minutes. Very rarely I’d fight a camp squad out of the 30 matches I’d probably fight 1-2 camp squads.
Still, I never complained about stacks in tdm.
Suddenly forces us to play king for a month & I’m hating how stacks play in that mode.

I agree, I hate king because of how long a game is.
TDM has that perfect middle ground where I could play with mates and in and out of competitive games in 10-15 mins.
Now I don’t bother trying in TDM ranked games. I even turn the console off now mid game if I’m paired with morons and can’t be ■■■■■ too play any longer.
TC for me have ruined the experience, I’ve even started doing what I hated people doing on my team.
As the old saying goes, if you can’t beat them, join them. And that is exactly what I have done. Ranked TDM isn’t a competitive serious mode now and has no place in ranked in my opinion. And as I don’t like too play gears on a solo flex FFA ain’t for me.
2v2 is basically now incorporated into TDM. And KoTH is too long games which I find tedious.
I fee the only way too win is reverse psychology and be the type of player I hate being paired with and encourage everybody todo the same until there’s outrage at it everywhere and TC do something to combat that (remove the cap).
