TC's Non-Communication

I had forgotten about that. At least Overrun had a modified version of DBNO.

The way I see it, the TWIGs and the What’s Ups are only TC giving us one-way updates on things that have already been decided.

When I say “communication,” I mean for it to be a two-way conversation.

Gotcha. They have always been bad at that. I agree with your post, I just clarified I want to see more interaction.

Meanwhile, Fallout fans watched Fallout 76 launch like:

TC just develops the game… we are the pro-players

No Im pretty sure TC is on Optic Gaming or something. Maybe Fire & ice.

I’ve heard from @GhostofDelta2 that the Dev’s are fairly competent playing Gears of War

I would be too if I had to play test as part of my job. But I’m just a lowly Bronze

This post got my brain going (rare occurrence). One thing that’s been imprinted in my mind at work is how important communicating with your stakeholders is in the successful delivery of a project. We’re the end user, if the communication was there maybe we wouldn’t be sat here right now complaining about all this s***.

Within reason of course if they listened to half of this forum the game would be 10x worse lol.

The stakeholders are Microsoft and owners of Microsoft common stock.

We are stakeholders, we are people with a vested interest in this product and ultimately the people who will line their pockets haha. Theres no one more important to this game right now than its community. To neglect it is a really silly move.

That’s not how software development works.

The users of Facebook are not the stakeholders. The users are the product. The owners of Facebook common stock are the stakeholders. The companies who buy data from Facebook are the customers of Facebook.

If you want to hold onto the notion that the Gears gaming community are the stakeholders, I can’t stop you from ignoring reality.

I’m just looking at it from a project management perspective where stakeholders are anyone with a vested interest in the output with varying power/interest which if managed correctly can aid success. Fair play if software development is different but I’d assume there would be some similarities. Your not referring to shareholders are you?

I was in a game with Octus and someone else during one of the test events in Gears 4, first time I seen the Blood Imago.

He was MVP on the losing team though.
