TC might be against this

So i looked through many videos and found this one…

I thought it would be cool, but TC probably doesn’t want to flesh out gary other then being a gagball that gets treated as “Non-canon filler” when the swarm attack the village in gears 4.

Cause i mean, dying is either on screen or he gets mentioned (Both of which didn’t happen funny enough).

Honestly, considering that the hive busters are kinda like in this Gears spin-off story, it would be interesting if they managed to find gary in an unusual pod placement, like when you die in escape.

Other then that, everyone has their opinion… i just think it would be good as Gears 6 isn’t gonna finish with showing the last carmine “D. Carmine” because that’s supposed to happen in gears 7.

What are you talking about “Gears 7”? This is only supposed to be a trilogy.
When they stop after 6, this franchise should just be laid to rest, never to be touched again (based on the direction of 4 and 5)

Everyone has an opinion, but I completely disagree with you. I love the Gears of War franchise & especially Gears of War 4 and Gears 5. So ya I want to see several more Gears games in the future & I hold strong that this franchise should never completely stop.

With the revelation about the Locust origins they’re pretty much set to make infinite sequels.

I think the current Kait/Swarm story is supposed to possibly be a trilogy but Rod before he left and others from TC have confirmed they want to ramp up the spinoffs like Tactics or even something like Judgement down the line.

I also recall there being statements that TC did not want to restrict themselves to a trilogy format to tell a story due to the restrictions it brings.

And the Swarm war has barely even gotten started. Ending it in 6 is definitely going to be very rushed and not the right call if that was to happen. Not mentioning that I don’t think Kait’s story can or will be concluded with Gears 6 anyway. Unless for some reason they would finish the Queen off at that point and drive the Swarm back after Gears 5 showed them really handing it to the COG on two separate occasions.

Hopefully TC turns everything around, because as it stands right now we’ll be lucky to have Gears 6. I do hope Gears 5 sold well enough (being on game pass and all) not to have MS put it on the shelf. Even though they said it out sold Gears 4 I really do have a problem believing it. I hope it did and by alot.

Exactly.

That’s what irks me the most about 5s campaign. Act 4 feels so rushed compared to the rest of the story. Reyna gets re-introduced, JD/Del get killed, city gets nuked and all of that in less than an hour and than it’s suddenly over. Similiar to 4 where the story ends abruptly once things start getting interesting.
