Gears 5 launched in a perfect state relative to the clown fiesta that is cyberpunk 2077
Oh, whats the word on cyberpunk?
Running at an amazing 10 FPS.
Oh. Maybe server overload as everyone is itching to play.
It’s a single player game that’s poorly optimized, littered with bugs that suggests nobody play tested and the most egregious thing being that 100% advertising/marketing for the game has been straight up lies
Its not just the graphics, the world looks cool but has nothing you can do.
You have a handful of hair styles/tattoo options and no barber or tattoo shops. The npc’s do nothing, it just feels barren.
I could understand it be a game that would have problems at release with what they were going for, but it is one of the biggest let downs I have come across in gaming personally.
I’m only 1.5 hours in but I’m enjoying it!
There are a bit of bugs though lol.
This is my main issue, bugs can be fixed but the game is just bare.
Love how the cops just spawn out of nowhere when needed
It true it’s completely bugged on Xbox one… I bought it last night expecting a great game…
Its nothing like it was advertised
walk around the centre of the city with 5 npc’s walking around, drive on the freeway with 2 other cars, be in mission dialogue and have a phone call that answers so both conversations are going at the same time, want to change that hair? sorry, we let you pick out of the amazing 3 options. Its mediocre at best, maybe down the line with updates and being played on a series X or high end PC it can be good but as of now its a meh, its Bethesda level release day ■■■■up quality.
Although i say that i have not put 20+ hours in to give any real opinion its just my first impressions, i have noticed turning the majority of filter options off improves the look and messing around with the settings improves aiming/driving but i think the only time it will be decent is when i play it on a series X, hopefully i can get one before the scalpers buy up the stock.
Sounds very disappointing. It sure was hyped up.
I kind of want to think Cyberpunk would be Neuromancer/Snow Crash: the game, but I 'm thinking it will rather be synthwave/desert chrome tutorial in photoshop: the game. Cdpr is really an overhyped gamestudio.
You can see the potential when you play it but it would need to be played on a new console or PC and would need quite a bit of content added.
Ummm… yea, idk about that one. I couldn’t even play gears 5 for half a week due to broken server issues. Cyberpunk has lots of issues, but they’re not as bad or even present depending on the system you play on. Gears 5 doesn’t even compare since it was busted for everyone who played.
Ive been playing Cyberpunk a bit since release. Already downloaded 2 patches… It’s actually playing ok I guess. I ran into a bug last night while fighting a tough enemy ,he clipped into a staircase where he was stuck and only his head was visible .
I’m playing it on my older xbox and it definitely doesn’t look as good as what you see from the footage CDPR released awhile back. I still run into freezes . Frame rate and resolution aren’t very good but still looks ok. Big city with limited NPC’s and cars so it feels oddly barren.
I’m not in love with the game at this point. Theres a lot to figure out. The menus seem complicated and I’m not sure about what the hell I’m supposed to do in them yet. I picked up a machine gun from a dead cop but I couldn’t equip or use it. So I ended up breaking it down into parts. Why? I have no idea. I did manage to change my clothes and and sell some junk items. There seems to be too much going on at times. I’m doing one mission and I get a call to do another mission while getting a text from someone else. Constant calls on my phone. It’s communication overload.
Should have been delayed even further to fix the bugs and optimize it properly for current gen consoles imo.
But people would get even more angry ( as the game had be delayed multiple times) and start sending even more death threats to the developers which is not cool…

Glad I didn’t buy the game at launch…I would probably wait for a year or two to experience this game.
I for one cannot understand the ridiculous hype train around this game for the life of me. I just saw a game set in a futuristic environment that I couldn’t be caring any less about because I saw everyone getting very excited and talking about it everywhere… about customization options and world options and how your decision making influences it around you, but not any talk about actual gameplay or things with substance that make these customization options and “world interactivity” even remotely worth it.
Maybe I’m just biased negatively because I don’t follow hype trains. This looks much like the same thing where I kept seeing and getting told how great Red Dead Redemption 2 was but never could get interested in it.
