Yup, many other great games. It’s my birthday today and I got The Outer Worlds as a pressie off my wife and children. I’ll sink time into that and comeback to Gears in a month or so.

I just play social quickmatch on gow 4 and i havent noticed any weird changes (yet).
I hope they dont kill the gow4 servers anytime soon because gow5 is horrendous

Click on games on the top bar then scroll down to gears 4 and click on that then you will see an option for stats

I criticize TC freely, but I’ll defend them on this one. They could easily just kill the servers for the game if they wanted to truly force people to play Gears 5. Many other series do exactly that. They must still be making some money off of the small pool of Gears 4 players via microtransactions and new game sales.

Yeah man, I noticed the lag was really bad right after Gears 5 launch. I understood right… most resources going to the new game. It’s improved a lot but I agree…it’s harder to find a match on 4 horde. 5 Horde is just terrible… absolute trash. Makes me sad.

People entertain all types of theories except the one about possibly not playing consistently well enough for the desired rank.
It wouldn’t force people to play 5. It would be too brash of a move under the circumstances and cause way too much backlash especially since so many are upset (rightfully so in many cases) with the current state of 5. It would make many even more angry and quit altogether, myself included. Putting in small deterrents over time would be a more strategic move.
The map voting is disabled. Some maps I’ve heard aren’t in rotation anymore? Now the ranking system…what’s next?

No. There is definitely something wrong with ranking right now.
I’m not saying there is or isn’t anything wrong with ranking, just that people pass there theories on as fact without critical reflection.
Yeah I see what you’re saying, and I could be looking into this a little too closely, but I do think that some of these complaints are legitimate.

yes man , as long as Gears 5 its limited as it is right now on horde which Im not even able to choose any weapon I like… Ill stick to 4 definetely.
