Tactician looks tank

Playing the tactician class on master difficulty I’ve noticed that the resupply healing module makes you pretty tank. That’s once you fully upgrade the health perk to max.

On wave 40+ (on master difficulty) If you get shot by hunter elite, deadeye or even sniper elite you still won’t go down.

Only time I went down was from scions (boomshots or dropshots) or from dr1 salvos.

you can even say it’s broken

You sure about the bit about being able to withstand sniper shots on master?I’m fairly sure that’s not accurate. Healing Module increases your healing rate and it applies immediately. It doesn’t give you damage resistance or extra health so anything that can normally one shot you, will still one shot you. You can withstand more small arms fire like rifles, but only if the healingrate matches or exceeds the rate of damage you take.

But yes, Healing Module is very good and I always use it for Horde. Obviously the venom cads are redundant on Horde so that frees up space.

I also like using it in conjunction with Interogation and the resupply radius card and the JD Spotter Support artillery strike move. I flashbang a target to meatshield, and activate the Ammo Resupply as I run just for the healing buff so I can take a bit more damage in order to grab the meatshield.

I got hit by deadeye on wave 40+ and I still didn’t go down. I had all my perks maxed out, I guess the health perk did help.

I don’t know if anybody else has experienced this yet though.

That might have been it. The EMBAR is weaker than the Longshot. I’ve been sniped before as Keegan whilst using Healing Module. This was before they swapped his perks around though so I wouldn’t have had the extra heath.

I honestly don’t know about longshot though. It wouldn’t surprise me if you don’t go down :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.

I remember just recently showing my friend me tanking Elite Drone shots while Healing Module was activated. Even though the Elite Drone was probably around 10m-15m away, I took about 4 good shots .

63% dmg res and 225% increased healing rate. And the dmg res is really good for Master.

Pretty sure the inverse applies. EMBAR enemies, at least Elite Snipers, are more damaging than their Longshot counterparts. I’m not sure by how much, but it seemed rather significant at one point to me.

They never did and instead added perks to replace the lack of venom card functionality for Horde.

Yeah, I usually don’t use it, but it’s a good, situational card. I’d swap it for grenade pouch on certain hives such as Last Stand, where there’s mobs of enemies that you’ll need to kill quickly, that you know it’s difficult to avoid taking hits from, and that you know going down would be costly to the team’s survival chances.

For purposes of clarity.

I think ash just means the green part that doesn’t kill you. Or maybe it’s the other way around.

Not really. i mean, one venom card knocks off time from your ultimate recharge while the other one enables you to replenish explosive ammo.

There were multiple terms for Venom on different cards. Ash, Dust, Venom, Cloud, Smoke. Maybe more. The Venom cards trigger in both “soft” and “hard” Venom.

Fact is, there is no Venom in Horde so no way to trigger these cards so the easiest solution was adding perks that replace these cards. This also allows for a bigger variety of builds.

Best paired with Speed-loader. Some encounters on the Line can be cheesed with 50+ dropshots this way.

It’s shame that the speed loader only works for tactician, otherwise it would’ve been more fun for others to get automatic reload for boomshots :joy:

Longshot handling (same thing to an extent) and Marcus ult exist. If Keegan uses the Ult next to Marcus, fire away.

And COG-Gear / Raam have a similiar Ability in Arcade that also refills Drop/Boom/Longshot ammo if you kill someone

Would love to know the same thing. There’s many questionable or outright wrong descriptions for cards.

Also, imagine if Venom Resistance would work against the Wakaatu acid. It’s technically the same thing.

It does. 60% on level 5…

He did specify it was that the 60/63% damage res normally doesn’t allow you to survive anything that would normally one shot or one hit down you on Master 41-50(except Juvie swipes).

Healing module reduces the damage you take =) thats why the guy stands against sniper shots
