You don’t tell people to adapt, when what they’re suppose to adapt to is worse than what it was before and not an actual evolution or even decent progression. All you’re doing is helping kill the game by doing this. It’s ok to not like something when you feel the integrity and quality has been degraded.
Otherwise, the devs won’t know, and will continute to bury the franchise with poor creative choices and horrible balancing/mechanics, until it can’t rack up enough $ in sales for a sequel to be worth it. So, it’s important to voice our opinions, and not just try to “adapt or move on”.

I never said gears 5 doesn’t have problems that need to be fixed but people on these forums everyday just trashing the game what is that doing?

It’s the consumers of a product letting the product owners know that they aren’t happy. The core audience of the product. Once the next shiny game comes out they will be the ones stuck with this mess after all.

It’s also not healthy to be disingenuous to loyal fans about how consumer-friendly you are, and how you’re leading the gaming market in this area by scrapping loot boxes. Then to go and put out a more predatory system than you had before.
With all the issues, TC feels comfortable locking most starter characters/skins out to fluff Tour of Duty, and to entice people to the overpriced store. Iron is in place of Credits, and currently, you can only earn 500 Iron every 3 months, only through completing the Tour.
So, it’ll usually take 6 months to earn a max 1000 Iron at this rate, to buy 1 decent thing. Instead of Credits, that you earned as you played, and had no such max. With Iron in place of Credits, it seems most the decent skins will be in the Store, like Islander Lahni, where you can’t truly earn them, and Supply and Tour will be filled with these basic skins, like Swarm Drone/Sniper, that should already be unlocked, and you shouldn’t be able to miss out on forever.
Supply is full of nonsense, filler Blood Sprays and Marks, and you get such little scrap. I’m re-up 3, just passed 3000 scrap, that’s including the 600 bonus. So, normally it’ll take me 3 full re-ups to get 2400 scrap, just enough to craft 1 legendary. That is beyond sad, and way worse than GOW4.

Yes I do agree that the tour is a grind for characters that should already be there and the stuff in store like 25 bucks for half of weapon set and a expression is a joke. But at its core I think it’s a solid game. With the tour of duty and store TC has work to do but I really am enjoying the game. Changes I would like to see thow are hit detection or registration fixed and smooth out some of the movement. Also I would like to see more blood when killing someone like gears 4.

I’ve honestly tried to give it a chance. Not just rush to judge because what others say. I played the game to the degree I could form my own opinion. It’s not fun.

Agree. I just don’t think changing the core mechanics of the game to lower the barrier of entry is the right move. A detailed tutorial could have gone a long way in teaching people how to play, what to expect.

Maybe in a few updates they will change some tuning and things and you will start to enjoy it more!
You mean what Boot Camp should have been? It’s funny to me that Boot Camp has it’s own spot in the menu, when it’s so short and nearly pointless, when it’s the type of stuff you learn in the first few minutes of any Campaign. A wasted opportunity to actually teach players, rather than just degrade the integrity of the gameplay to bridge the skill gap.

Agreed . The multiplayer is hot garbage right now.
I also really don’t like the multi-player. I just can not enjoy it. It is a flash bang fest lol. Throw a flash bang run in kill 2 die an repeat. I don’t like that every weapon is over powered. The only mode I really enjoy is escape right now. But this also gets pretty boring real quick. I hope that they fix the multi-player.
