Gears 4 is trash, I remember Playing it last time blindfire the shotgun and it didn‘t shoot. Gears 4 and judgement Are the worst. Gears 5 is way smoother than 4. How People can Even say 4 is better ?? The blindfire shoots in 4 Are sometimes just luck. Gears 1 was the best. ■■■■ Gears 2 with it‘s laggy Multiplayer and ■■■■ Gears 3 with sawed off shotgun.(and also a Lot of lancer Campers in Gears 3 but People crying about 5)

Gears has been the game that takes up 95% of my gaming and has done for the last 12 years.
I have 65 games yet I don’t want to play anything but Gears… why? because it’s the most unique game, there is nothing else like it, but this horde of noobs flooding in with this trash game called Gears 5 do not understand that, to them it’s just another 3rd person shooter, which is what it has now become… It is no longer Gears of War. The uniqueness is gone, the opportunities for professional gears players to showcase their skill are TOTALLY gone.
So to all the IDIOTS telling us Gears Veterans to go find another game to play… there is nothing else for us to play, get that into your thick skulls… Gears of War is one of a kind, sorry… WAS one of a kind.

This is a good third person shooter, it is not Gears of War. The casual Horde crowd has butchered this game.

Please explain to me how Horde players have had anything to do with Versus being made to appeal to the COD players? If anything, there’s quite a few who have their issues with the mess they’ve turned Horde into as well.

It all depends on your level of comparison. From what I can tell, put up against Gears 1-3, Gears judgment, Gears UE and even most of Gears 4, Gears 5 is < all of them in almost every way. That’s my amalgamated opinion. But I do have many data points to back up that conclusion.
Hey Crack down 3 was fun for a day or two but G5 is nowhere near as good as Fatal farm’s scene 27/the dong blasting scene in 'Our Robocop Remake."
This game just doesn’t feel fun to play or rewarding when getting kills. Honestly feel like this video sums it up.

That game play itself isnt the issue. Its the effort put into the game to lack of or to no results. You get toms of scrap by playing horde on gears 4. Gears 5 u get like 55 scrap for 3 hours. In gears 4 was easier to level up. Here i play a horde and i get ZERO results from it being broken. Gears 5 plays amazing. Nice rework on lots of the weapons tho i feel overkill is nerfed to the ground but it feel smooth. Just lack of content, which i feel is purposeful to extent games lifespan and little yo no rewards. Even when it comes to player built maps. It has ZERO rewards.

There are a lot of flash grenades. Where do they all come from? Does every bot have a fifty pack of flash grenades at their disposal? I get four at the most. I’ve never seen a locust flash factory on any level I’ve played. Do bots really think flash grenades are that effective? If they threw a frag I’d be dead. Maybe flash grenades are like bot cocaine. Once they start throwing …
Why don’t bots run out of ammunition? I’ve seen them reload, but they never run out, even if I sit there for a half hour behind a post drawing fire on purpose. Well actually the AI get to them eventually, but that’s not my point!
Why do all bots have perfect aim? I can be serpentining at full speed and still get whacked by a drop shot or a claw. Where are the aiming challenged bots? I am aiming challenged, Why aren’t some bots aiming challenged?
I like hip shots. How you shoot shouldn’t matter, its where you hit. Aimed shot to an ankle isn’t worth more than a hip shot to the face. Stop it.
Some accommodation needs to be made for new players. I’m a new player. Coming in and getting whacked by a 17 year old pastie basement dweller (just assuming here - you could be 47) is off putting. I’m a casual player and should be respected as such. Make an apropos environment for me and let the OC crowed destroy themselves. I think Microsoft is trying to be accommodating here. Just a learning curve I hope.
Recommendation - Make a Pro-Am tourney. At least if you’re purposely trying to get us to mingle (?) we know what we’re getting into. Otherwise no game available is better that a fubar game.
The game is fun. Comments above are intended to be somewhat humorous. Don’t hate. I have nothing against pastie basement dwellers, really. I just don’t like getting whacked by them. Or anybody.

I watched a youtube video of an insane run through in the all fathers. they know right where the bots are being spawned and actually how to control where they will be spawned. I found this remarkably … silly. This needs to be tweaked out the game. No spawn should only apply to the fabricator, not a grenade, or smelter, or whatever. Stationing a single superman at a known position to pick of spawn before they’re even given a chance to breath the air and enjoy the sunlight or their warped faces is just inhuman (sic). Try this: If a bot is killed in under three seconds after spawning, no spawning will occur at that location a random period set for a least 60 seconds. Turrets and weapons lockers are not immune to spawning past Experienced, maybe not at all.
It’s SO great that it’s losing more and more players by the week 
Lack of maps, still no full Delta Squad, broken ranking, quitters galore, constant gameplay rebalancin, over emphasis on cosmetics, grindin etc etc
