I have just reached General and received the team rock weapon set. I am at 69% of the medals in the tour of duty. Daily objectives don’t seem to give me any xp or scrap or anything else. And as Operation 1 has another 13 weeks to run until we get Operation 2, is there anything else that’s worth doing, aside from campaign and reaching re up 20?? Am re up 7 and have finished campaign and mastered a few horde maps. What is point of Tour of Duty once you reach General, dailies give no xp or scrap after so??

I think then you just do medals for the items they can give you probably.

OK thanks, so once you reach General and you also complete all medals in the current Tour, then there’s nothing else to do or earn in the tour until the next operation comes out. 13 more weeks with daily objectives being pointless?? They should at least be exchanged for scrap or xp.

Well October should have some event for Ice skins possibly so thats something to do

And then just play for Re-ups etc
I mean if you really want to you can do an achievement grind and just see what all there is to do then do it.
You can relax and try to enjoy the game.

I knew it wouldn’t take long for a noob to post a comment like that… I do enjoy the game thanks and I am quite relaxed, but thanks for asking… though nowhere near as much as I enjoyed Gears 4. I reached Wings 5 on Gears 4 and might go back to it once I hit re up 20 on Gears 5. My question still stands, maybe try and answer it rather than criticise the OP.

Seems you baited the answer you really wanted…
…and you don’t listen. You still have skins to unlock in the medals area. For xp you have boosts, and weekly xp and skin rewards for escape, horde, and vs.
Its not anyones fault but your own that you spent money on star reups and maxed out early. If you would have placed yourself, you wouldn’t be complaining. It would be nice to see people take responsibility for their own actions instead of blaming everything on TC.

I haven’t spent any money on star re-ups, but thanks for your concern. I’ve just done all the dailies and used my iron that was given in game. I asked a simple question, and both you and the noob choose instead to criticise the OP rather than come up with a valid answer or some constructive criticism. Maybe next time try and engage brain before opening mouth…

There are new characters coming this month so maybe stars will be required to unlock them but I figure the more likely out come will be new medals will be added as a requirement to unlock the new characters.

I finished mine last week. I was thinking the same thing, dailies are now useless not to mention the new double star saturday events. I’ve been trying to finish off a few medals so I can get said rewards such as desert JD. Just unlocked desert Del last night actually. Personally I plan on playing the campaign and diving into versus multiplayer.

Exactly. God forbid, someone actually enjoy gaming. That’s why I keep going back to the original trilogy. I enjoy them. That’s what vids are for.

Same boat. I did spend money though. Ain’t ashamed but I truly feel like there’s nothing to play for so I just get a couple games in a day, grinding juvie kills in escape.
I was thinking that any additional stars that are earned should count towards the next tour. I’m not sure if anyone would think this is fair, but stars earned are stars earned imo. I think they should be credited towards tour 2

The left-over-earned stars will carry over to the next operation.
Can you confirm that with a source? I have not seen TC say anything about extra stars carrying over on next operation. Because if that’s true, some of us (me including) are at general now with like what, 2 months left, we could earn enough to get up close to general again on the first day of operation v2 lol.
