We saw the scout as you describe. being outside the safety of the base, being able to survive on their own. The scout is the lone wolf.
Crazy. I’ll pass those along.
We’ll see what we can do about 100% the tour.
If you have a game like that, let me know when and what gamer tags and I’ll look it up.
we are looking at our playlist layout. We have some ideas that hopefully will suit you.
Noted.
We’ve seen a bug recently that puts a person with a really, really low skill rating in with people that have really, really high ones. We are investigating. It’s very rare, and likely a numerical instability somewhere in the match maker.
Sorry.
Edited:
The match results bug is much more common than we had thought. We have been actively trying to track it down for weeks. It is almost impossible to find in the studio, but we are still working on it.
Global chat is disabled during game to prevent cheating. That being said, it may be too harsh. I do like the idea of a proximity chat.
What I’d really like to see is people talk in online matches again.
It’s logged. Oddly, it’s a lot of work. We are still looking for a way to do this that’s safe and viable.
Point taken. We have tried to create cards that change gameplay in an interesting way rather than just a power escalation. We may have gone too far.
Thing about that is, the enemies put anything in the ground so quickly on the higher difficulties that it is practically impossible to be doing so if you’re not in Cloak. Getting insta downed by a Hammerburst or Claw, or nearly any other weapon, is not exactly favorable to an out of base playstyle without anything to hide you from visual detection. So outside of Cloak activation periods, Kait just sits in the base like everyone else because it simply isn’t viable to be outside of it away from your teammates.
I don’t think you’ve gone too far with it at all. We can already have infinite ammo at our hands with very little problems, by simply building some weapon lockers. Though the ammo boxes do not give you a whole lot of ammo, making them give all of it back to you seems a bit too extreme as well. But the point still stands, weapon lockers are an easy way to get plenty of ammo for free once they are built. You’d just need a Del to upgrade them. Making ammo boxes give even more ammo on top, it just facilitates even more spamming of Lancer grenades by JDs, which, as a Kait, I can still do well against, but it still extremely obnoxious. Sometimes you can’t even see the enemy from all the stupid grenades cluttering the screen.
The only weapons I would consider looking at for is the Dropshot and Boomshot for their max ammo count which has been lowered by 3 respectively, and has made them somewhat ineffective with anyone but JD if you wanted to use them, especially with the Dropshot not being a one hit kill on a direct hit or headshot any longer. If the intention was for JD to use it, well, most just favor keeping one Boomshot and the rest of the locker filled with the massively superior and potentially OP Lancer GL. Which, as it happens, also really doesn’t require much skill to land hits with, unlike using a Dropshot which at least requires precise shot timing for the drop. Not even a Torque Bow or Boomshot are as easy to hit targets with as the Lancer grenade(except Guardians, Sentinels, Bastions. and Kestrels if they keep moving around). So if that was the intention, it doesn’t really seem to be reflected in the game.
So when you go DBNO then get revived do you start back at 0% health or are you still a little hurt??
I’m sorry, what? I don’t believe you, I seriously don’t.
If you’re referring to the matchmaking system, I can assure you that other games do a much better job at pairing/pitting you with/against people with similar skills. Even games that don’t necessarily have a matchmaking system like most battle Royale games seem to matchup people a lot, and I mean a whole lot better than in Gears5.
If you’re referring to the ranking system, again, I don’t believe any of it. With its inconsistency, “mood swings” and anything goes attitude as opposed to other ranking systems, it feels like I’m always fighting against the game rather than play it. I’m at the point where I want to ask you for a lock of your hair as a goodluck charm in hopes that it’ll put me in your ranking system’s good side…
Like this? Guardian match, tonight, Jaylin117x gamer tag.
Definitely a fun match for me. Especially enjoyed getting yelled at by a teammate at the end to get outta ranked until I git gud.
Or the next match, TDM, where I went 4-10. I know I’m a scrub, but…where are the other scrubs??
Can you tell me, how possible is shooting while reloading?

This is strange cause he fired 2 shots while reloading gnasher.
@N0DEZER0 There’s just something about Gears 5’s movement and gameplay that feels off and unrewarding. Even the aiming feels weird and inconsistent! I hate it! Will this Be Changed over time to be more satifactory:smirk:
YES! This is better.
@N0DEZER0 Is there any ideas On how to deal or stop with people rubber banding there controller and walking off so they dont get kicked from modes the older games would kick you even if you were spinning cause it did not count as movement so i hope this is implemented and gets Rid of the ■■■■■■
What? Cheating? It’s hardly going to give the other teams a major advantage. Elaborate.
You’re right it’s harsh. There wasn’t a problem with it in Gears 4, so why now?
