Its been about 12 matches I MVPed in 10. KoTH. And Onyx 3.
I placed in Onyx 1 after the reset, I am now a Silver 3

I can back all that, since I’ve been present for most of them. I mean, I don’t know what else the man needs to do for the game to throw him a bone once in a while…
Also, forgot to mention. @N0DEZER0, you skipped my post again. If possible, can you make a stream and/or video where you explain the inner workings of the rank system? Atm, it feels like the fix did nothing and we’re all still scratching our heads as to how it works.
Also, please consider just making a simple, easy to understand ranking system. Every other game with a ranking system has one that is both comprehensive and easy to work with. None of those two qualities apply to the ranking system in Gears5, unfortunately…

It looks like you were placed way too high. There has been an issue with high end players getting placed too high. The bulk of the population got placed low. This means they are dragging you down. We felt. We were being conservative with the placements but we missed a bit on the high end players. It sucks, but once the bulk of players catch up to you you’ll start going up.
We have come up with better tuning for the next season in a month and this won’t happen to the high end players. Sorry. After enough games, it will sort it out, you’ve just got a bit of natural gravity for a few days likely.
We have a stream planned for next week on ranked. We are also planning on overhauling the presentation to show much clearer what it means and how to earn it and how much you have to go.

Sprays are coming in TU3. We have a plan for banners but I can;t say exactly when.

Sorry, I. Thought you were talking about their 4000 ping.
It is showing the server view. The server validates the shots but the players may not be in exactly the same locations s when the shot was fired. Due to latency, all three machines have a slightly different view. The server has to make sense of all of it, which means that while you saw one thing, the other guy saw something else, and the server is somewhere in between.
I don’t really do the admin or customer support side. I’m just the designer.
Once we have a bit of data after phase 2 we can start our phase 3 tuning. It might be about a week-ish for the update.
We have found that players see higher ranks as something that needs to be earned. We start the whole population between bronze 1 and silver 3 and they then need to earn higher ranks. We could place people closer but it creates a really stale feeling from match to match.
Thanks for the reply. I don’t want it to seem like I’m negative but it is just really disheartening to have this game installed and not be able to play it.
I spent time searching for Arcade matches last night during our peak time (7pm-9pm) and could still only find a match after 35 minutes of matchmaking.
I appreciate that there are obviously other things going on, and I really appreciate the work you guys are doing to rectify the situation, it just feels like we have been left behind in terms of the delay it’s taking for us to get our problems resolved.
Its also doubly frustrating knowing there are certain Tour of Duty rewards we will be unable to get due to no fault of our own (the ranked page reward and possibly the versus due to bot matches only being CoG) and the fact that the fixes are only coming in right towards the end of the tour.

If arcade matches are taking that long then we need to fix something. I’ll look into it. I thought you were talking about ranked.
