Agreed. We’ve had this request a lot. I agree. It’s on our list to get to.

I appreciate the position you propose. We have considered doing some events like ‘Classic Horde’ with no fortifications or classes. Is that something you’d be interested in?

I’m not sure why that happens but it sucks. I will make sure the bug is prioritized in the backlog.

We’ve shied away from these as they are very difficult to tune for launch. If you are off by a bit that could mean months too soon or too long. Once we have more data we could look at something like this.

We wanted teamwork to be important and needing someone to feed the higher DPS classes ammo was one way of making the support classes more meaningful. You could always spend on weapons lockers instead of perks if you think you need more ammo.

I will get the issue with the split screen reward thing logged.

There are some rules to it. We should publish those. I think it has to be after a certain amount of time to let them rejoin.

The future maps will all be quite different. After you see the next one feel free to give us some feedback.

Shot delay - Is this after bouncing or canceling? There shouldn’t be a delay after fully bouncing. There is one after a cancel to reward people for making full slides.

I think that we should likely bring the roadie strafe back, we have it on the design list to look at but it’s not at the top atm.

Magnetism has been in the game forever. The adhesion is new. Thanks for the feedback.

We had a developer playlist before, but people kept complaining we changed the tuning too much :).

So here is a thought N0DE:

The arcade style elimination points to purchase weapons formula could potentially work in horde 4.0 with the personal skills between rounds. I.E. taking the need to spend precious power on them out and rewarding combat participation while freeing up thousands of power for the engineer/base.

I also assure you that for characters that are not engineers; being able to upgrade the specific fortifications they can craft to level 2 will go along way in not just helping out, but improving public matches. This means an engineer would need to be present for levels 3 and 4, but teams without one still have a fighting chance.

Cole has been my favorite character since he made his entrance back in the original GoW. I’ve basically used him as my main in every successive game. So far I have been sufficiently entertained by Kait’s dynamic kit. love, but my heart longs for the big fella.

One thing I can say for certain is that the demand for Delta characters is off the charts. I understand it takes time to balance them for release and that leaving them out of the original release is a good way to try and draw players back down the line.

I know you can’t get specific, but could you give us a ballpark estimate on when we might start to see some of them. I sincerely hope that it’s sooner rather than later.

My guess is he still hasn’t gotten to yours. He’s going through the posts in order and his time is limited according to him. Last post he answered was from 16hrs ago, yours was posted 6hrs ago.

Are you guys working on a fix for spawns in KoTH? I hate when I spawn in and as Im making my way to the hill the other team spawns behind me where I just spawned. Also spawning in on the complete opposite side of the map from the hill is ridiculous.

I would like to read those rules, but it seems very luck of the draw. I play king so the average game is 30 minutes. Someone dumps out in the first round the option will sometimes not show up at all.

Alot of this has to do with connection honestly.
Numerous times I’ll have someone gib me after coming out of a full sprint. I was told that that shouldnt be able to happen. That there was a delay. Yet it happens. Other times I’ll be sprinting, come out of a full run , pull the trigger and nothing happens and I die.

But it also has to do with ping. The other day I was in a group playing on reclaimed. This one dude had a ping of 5. Yes 5. He was carrying the team and we couldnt figure out how to stop him. It was the connection in the end. It gave him such an edge that he put up 30 while the the rest of his team had like 11.

It’s something I’ve seen before. It’s how I can tell if I was playing a diamond in 4. Their connection gives them the upper hand and by the time you adjust it’s too late.

What does this have to do with slide bounce shot? It’s kinda the same thing. Alot of it has to do with connection but the other times there is an issue. There is alot of phantom shots in gears.

I’ve noted there is a lot less “updating” in g5. Which is both players kill each other at the sametime. G4 there was a lot and while it annoyed people I found it more understanding than not killing the other person.
