Thanks for the feedback. We have plans to add more, but they get pushed further down the line due to higher priority features that impact more players.

It’s still on our list and we hope to get to it.

Sorry for only addressing part of your very well presented feedback, I just think you have a lot of dense points. Please repost them one at a time if you want a faster response. I’ll try to get to the others at some point regardless.

This is a good point. We are looking at options for what to do at the end of the tour. We envisioned the medal completion to be the end game after you had completed tour. We anticipated it taking people longer than it did. We will need to figure this out but I’m not sure what it will be yet.

Oddly, by making the shotgun more consistent, we may have made this harder. It’s something we’re considering, but touching the shotgun is always perilous.

    Your net score should make a lot more sense.

    Hard to say. Depends on the amount of losing and against whom. It should work a lot better, but this scenario is tricky.

  • losing 5x (or more) points for a loss than you can possibly gain for a win
    Yes, this should be fixed

  • Making silver and below have more points required to get promoted than gold and above
    This is a really good catch and I need to check on this one.

  • Bronze players losing hundreds of points for losses or average performances, but gaining 30>80 for a win and lucky if they get 100 for win + mvp
    Yup. This should be fixed

  • everyone being put in silver after their placement matches
    This should be fixed. We expect a broader spectrum, but we don’t exactly know where it will land for everyone.

  • losing thousands of points on your first few games if you haven’t played in a few days (mainly an issue in silver and below).

It’s a great moment. It’s just hard to express with five people. How do you trigger it? How do you get five players to agree? Does it play the same way every time?

I prefer the emergent approach because it allows players to be inventive.

  • Not being able to kick Trolls and AFK’s from a game that i’m hosting, every other game a random joins and isn’t productive to the difficulty level or just casually sabotage the match…this “NEEDS TO CHANGE ASAP”. I wouldn’t kick casually but sometimes the boot needs to be swung.
    I totally agree. This was on our intended feature list but we didn’t get there. It really needs to be there.

  • In public lobbies don’t allow people to play a difficulty untill they ave completed the one prior to that.
    We are working on a design for this

  • Match timer, often than not people are still selecting characters and cards and the match stars . Two of the same characters , they gamle hoping they get what they want subsequentaly they dont…then quit instantly.let the timer go the distance plz…it’s only a minute…
    We would like to figure out a better solution for how to resolve this conflict.

  • Let us scrap duplicates atleast once the skill has maxed out, feels like a right kick in the teeth getting green skills on higher levels that are pointless to you at that level.it worked on gears 4…
    We were reluctant to let people do that because they would feel very disappointed when we bring out the level 6 cards. There isn’t a good answer right now.

  • Store is very pricey, I don’t give my time at work for free so i’ll be understanding. But £8 for a skin seems like robbery, i’d meet you in the middle. I see things i like but not at that price…i don’t need it, convince me otherwise…

Sorry for only addressing part of your feedback. If you cut it down into smaller chunks I could do each one in turn.

  • Quit Confirmation Box for leaving after rounds have ended and for the main menu (PC Windows 10)
    Totally agreed. This drives all of us nuts.

  • 100% CPU saturation during load screens (PC Windows 10)
    This is more an engineering thing but I will pass it along.

  • Matchmaking solo often puts me into games across the continent. (should be in West Coast but often find myself in East Coast)
    We will see if we can add a gentle hint to put people together like that.

  • Have Cover/Wallbounce action taken “on A press” not “off A release”
    How would you run?

  • Ranked lobby will bug out and will not display Characters/Voting process (usually after a lobby dissolve)
    This is on our bug list.

  • Jack will get bugged when being frozen with the Cryo Cannon. resulting in constant freezing until killed.
    This is also logged. Thanks for calling it out!

Just read your reply again and realized I missed a huge piece of info.

Drawn rounds counting as lost rounds isn’t just a visual thing. You seem to always lose points for drawing a round (at least the first round).

I don’t get many draws so I don’t have a huge sample size to work with.

Just wanted to clarify that, as my initial question made it sound like it was only a visual issue.

Hi there, I posed this question a few months ago on the forums and through Twitter but never received an answer. I was hoping you might shed some light on how the results were/are calculated. This match took place PRE-rank fluctuation/correction. (if a bug had since been corrected.)

Match details:
Solo queue
I was MVP
Team was unfavored to win
Won the match
No quitters

I lost nearly 10% rank.

I don’t have a screen of the scoreboard of the game but the only way I could have done ‘better’ would have been more kills… More caps… More points… But to what measurable end?

  • Weekly and Monthly Challenges - Any chance of getting weekly/monthly challenges that task players with a (reasonable) goal that once complete rewards the player with a customization item? For example, a weekly goal could be to complete a Horde on Insane difficulty and a Monthly could be to win a ranked match on each map.

  • Community Challenges - Could we see community challenges to earn rewards for everyone that participated? Something like, the community as a whole has a month to pick up 1 billion energy, Complete 1 Million chapters of Escape, Revive 10 Million players, 1 Million Executions, etc. (obviously you guys would decide an appropriate number as all these stats are tracked by you and I’m just throwing numbers out there). Just a simple goal for the community as a whole to aim for each month to earn a nice skin or execution for participating. Maybe even a multi-tiered reward system. If the community reaches goal one we are rewarded with a weapon skin set, goal two would be a character skin, goal three would be an execution.
  • Scrapping Skill Cards - I understand you don’t want people to complain if additional levels are added to skill cards at a later date and they feel screwed because they scrapped all their additional skill cards. But why not make the new level require less to upgrade then if that is the worry? Make the upgrade to lv 6 cards 50% of the requirement to reach lv 5 cards instead of an additional 50% or whatever the increase would be. Then if you enable scrapping skill cards players can scrap their extras and if/when additional levels are released it wouldn’t be a grind for a huge amount of gold and purple cards.

  • Totem System - Could we see additional totems in the future for past characters in order to unlock an additional skin for them (ie another Totem for the Warden to unlock a helmetless Warden)? Truly, I would prefer that all characters are unlocked for all players right away and that the Totems would just be for an additional skin so that ALL players can enjoy what each character has to offer right away no matter if they play a lot/little or had the game since launch or will be getting the game for the holidays. What the Totems would be there for is to further customize these characters by completing the Totem challenges or purchasing the Totem completion.
  • Haunted Hives - In the October 21st What’s Up post it was stated that the community could create a scary hive and it could be featured in the community section of escape. When will these Hive entries be featured? What is the reward for them that was hinted?
  • Operation 2 Supply Content - Weekly additions to the supply drops are nice, but I feel the pool for weapon and character skins is lacking. Will there be a larger than usual supply drop at the start of Operation 2 that adds a substantial amount of new weapon/character skins, executions, etc. than the usual weekly drops to increase the options for players to spend scrap?
