I have a quick question and hoping you can help. I would first like to say I’m Gears and nothing but Gears… I attended the Boston Open Pro Circuit over the past summer at that time those who attended received special skins for the weapons I believe it was two of them. I’m wondering if there is a way to carry them over to Gears 5 like the Gilded skins. I could provide you with more info on the skins if it helps.

I just played a Guardian match in which the enemy leader died, ours was still alive, but the match timer ran out and since enough of my team was in the process of spawning it ended in a stalemate. Is that intended? I feel like if the enemy leader dies and the timer runs out the round should be won no matter what.

Ranked is important to us. We will make it something good.
We don’t talk about future work until it’s announced. But we’d always love to have as many characters as possible. I’ll see about asking the character team why they chose that version. It’s likely for mP playability and rigging concerns but I’ll look into it at some point.
Question : Why is it that Winter Armor Kait’s fur padding was changed to be brighter in MP modes? It used to be more of a dark grey color in both MP and Campaign, but around the mid-October mark it changed to being really bright white in MP modes after an update, while remaining the same in Campaign, and just looks a lot worse with the bright white than it did with the dark grey. I can provide screenshots if necessary, once I get the opportunity to take some.

Why is the Store lacking so much content?
Like one week worth of content is a single skin, maybe a character and a banner and mark?
From even a purchasable point of view, it’s very - very - bare bones.
Content is literally being drip fed.
Take the esports items.
Only 4 characters since launch almost 3 months ago and the Chrome Steel weapon set isn’t even complete and then we get another loadout set?
Again, not even the complete set?
Look at Gears 4 - entire weapon sets and 3-5 characters at a time that weren’t just base skins or very minor.
At this point, I’d rather you guys just remake Black Steel Characters and those Weapon Sets and sell them because the quality is far better and … there would be actually some content to get …
It’s just frustrating every week to see very weak items in the store…
I’m literally ready to spend money - I have basically enough to buy premium skins every single day but there’s nothing there to buy for weeks and weeks …
It’s like you guys don’t want to put out content and get paid for it 
For characters its because of the “hero” system. Cant add new characters without the hero abilities,
Thats why they need to ditch it and go back to a class type system
This way they can release more content and make more money.

Hardly anything beyond a base skin or a regular skin.
Nothing screams out premium or must have.
The Chrome Steel are “supposed” to be the premium skins. But with them lacking any chrome or steel they’re just blah.

They just a dull grey / maybe silver-ish with hardly any LEDs or something that screams premium.
The Scion and Hunter to me just blend in like normal characters and Fahz and Kait don’t stand out any better.
Same for the weapon skins.
It seems like they have no intentions to redo Black Steel because it was a Gears 4 eSports supporter program whereas it’s Chrome in 5. Whether there will be other skins, that’s not known. But it seems BS skins won’t return, judging by responses to questions about them from the last developer stream.
I can understand that but the reference is more to quality and quantity.
Chrome Steel so far is very, very bland and boring.
White Steel would have been the obvious choice considering the heavy attention to Winter.
Well, maybe so. But the Winter theme is so far only present in Act 2 of the Campaign and one map outside of it, so the focus on it doesn’t seem as large, even if it is there during the arguably most important part of the story as far as Kait is concerned. And Winter Armor skins seem very similar to White Steel at least as far as the armor is concerned.
Not denying they could improve Chrome Steel though. For the price they are being sold, they aren’t all that memorable.
The winter theme is heavily focused on promos, with the logo as well as the console too.
White Steel would be different from the Winter Armour, more steel like, more LEDs, more premium with matching weapon sets.

Just anything other than Bland “Chrome” Steel.
I mean with the blah of the chrome steel and the lack of detail in the last few BS packs in 4 I doubt white steel would have been any better
