They have been there since gears 4 and never to my knowledge has TC ever revealed what any of them mean except the wifi symbol which is shown during a loading screen as a tip.
I see 1 symbol every time a rnd starts in versus for about 2 secs which i assume is server related but thats a guess.
Ive only had 1 symbol appear at a time, this was just something that happend 1 time today in 2 different matches when within 10ft of the same player. As i said above ive never had this connection issue before.
It never happend again after i left the gm with that person. I found extremely strange.
It was like someone using a lag switch in gears 2😂
Thx, think it was the 1st two, never get wifi symbol, i was more interested in finding out what all the symbols mean out of curiosity as i dont no 100% what they mean.

As i said previously it only happened 2 x today when near 1 person on the other tm long enough for them to be walking into walls n kill me in 2 seperate matches, the 2nd time i left the gm and its been fine ever since.
I recorded both incidents.
Lol truth be told man the Xbox one just plays better hardwired to your internet. WiFi drops like flies all the time.

I’d like to give information about the symbols, but 1. I need to know which ones, because being both a PC and Xbox player, I see a lot of different ones from the system and in game even in my own experiences - everyone’s experience is different, and 2. I have to go chase that information and having examples helps me, and/or CS, to do that.
I want to help. I can’t always help, but I want to. To have the best chance of that, screenshots, tickets, and information will help.
This is a damn fine community, and I smile daily that I get to work with it. Let’s make it easier on us all, eh?

Mine doesn’t seem to do that, it only rarely drops. Do know wired connection is better though. But currently can’t have one. (Awaiting inbound sheep emotes.)
Now why would I do you like that? I mostly have to use wifi as well . Ping is always way lower on wires connection though.
Isn’t the symbol with the lightning bolt/tunnel, packet lost interruption or basically failing to reach their destination.
