Give fauz sniper strike and Marcus hammer of dawn!!! You guys must been high making fauz’s ledendary card more frost damage. Common sense does not apply to the tc, new developer for gears OF WAR 6 please :).
Launch status? It was terrible back then as well. It’s actually skilful that they’d managed to make it worse.
Oh and let use our damn dupe cards for scrap, and don’t give the excuse it’s for future card upgrades…give me the choice, getting 8 score boost cards every round is not good game design .
The “pros” aren’t really pros if they want to slow the game down. I think movement is fine right now, it could be a little faster in my opinion but it’s not slow to a point where I see an issue. My biggest gripe with this game is the ■■■■■■ hit detection and sponging. That’s what the “pros” should be complaining about. If you are a lancer “pro” you may want to check out call of duty.
I like this observation…
As a non verses player delta…what would hurt more…the gears community walks away from the game…or the esports players…someone at tc should be saying…“ok pros feel free to ■■■ off…u give nothing…only take, its the gears community that make the game what is…without the “paying” community…we have nothing…shut the door on your way out…you self obsessed stumps…
”
Personally I think the movement is the least of their worries.
The game is playable with the current movement setup.
How about gnashers that actually work? That would be a big plus in my book.
Pros spamming ‘revert’ is hardly professional. Ashes video is respectful unlike others in that twitch feed. Though ashes weren’t complaining when his team was winning in g4 @foosniper
Tc dont give anymore special treatment…git gud
U got it rook🤣
I think I’d keep the increase in backward speed and walk acceleration, and get rid of everything else from the movement update. The pros have a good point as far as the consequences of slide speed, roadie speed, and “cover slip speed” increases. The up-A and related maneuvers are now overpowered, and occur too quickly for the game’s networking to keep up with.
Judging by Ashes’ video, it also seems like much of the pro-scene’s issue with the movement update is with communication and transparency. Springing a new movement update on them the day before the San Diego LAN seems like a really poorly-thought out decision by TC if true.
Yep, every match in every gears ever.
Reduced movement speed kills the fun of the game, and even with reduced movement speed those things still happened but now it’s to a whole new degree.
Entire matches are unplayable now.
This was all done weeks ago. So your telling me TC should put this whole game on hold for all of us untill all E sports events are done? By the time they lay a whole need ground work and implement all the changes at once this game will be done, nobody will be left. Ok put us on all hold to satisfy some PROs. If they are the best they will adapt. From update till next event all pro teams have the same amount of time to adapt. As of the up a from what I understand it’s getting Nerf and the pros Don’t like that either.
You misunderstood what I said. I’m not talking about right now or future updates. According to Ashes (whom we have no reason to disbelieve), the new movement was sprung on the players one day prior to the Dec. 6-8 tournament without any prior notice. We’re not talking about delaying updates to accommodate pros, but rather the opposite. They were forced to play on a new version of the game that had not even been publicly released yet, and were not told this until literally the day before the tournament.
Who cares if it was sprung on them. ( Seriously who gives a ■■■■ about the pros)TC made the changes for US. The game was dying. All the Backlash and the movement was one of them. What TC is suppose to wait. Well here is a response from Dutch. Please watch this if you have time and want to reply.
This doesn’t make any sense. Whether you’re for or against the movement changes, there was no reason to include them at the tournament when the movement update was not even public yet and nobody at the tournament had played that version of the game. Again, I’m not talking about TC “waiting,” but rather why they chose to fast forward an unreleased version of the game onto the San Diego tournament.
Well I see you won’t even watch the reply. I been seeing how your just always one sided through all the post and replies on previous topics. That’s just who you are. I don’t keyboard battle so I’ll leave it as that.
You can’t expect me to watch a 35 minute video from a guy who begins by saying he doesn’t “give a **** about Gears.” If he doesn’t care about Gears, why should I care about watching his video? Feel free to reproduce his points here if you want, and I’d be happy to read.
Funny how you won’t even watch because you refuse to see any other point of view but yours. Are you worried that you’ll hear something and have to think all night for a response to satisfy only what you want to believe? Kind of reminds me of the political climate where in now. I don’t want my feeling hurt.(he also is probably the only one who had Ryan pop in his stream to discuss Gears unexpectedly)
smh
isn’t it enough that these “pros” have influenced the boring technical direction of map design? demanded their own special weapon tuning in gears4?
the core audience should be TC’s priority, not 20-30 pros
The way the pros are acting it seems like TC might of realize they messed up. Hopefully they are changing direction and are gonna start listening to the people who actually buy the game and not the ones who get paid to play the game.
