I thought I read somewhere they were doing a Halloween event. Is that still going to happen? Gears Pop has the horde-o-ween event going so I guess I expected the Gears 5 one to be under way by now too.

Ok, I’m not crazy. TC did mention it:
“October will also see the return of Special Events, from old fan favorites to new breakout hits. And yes, you can bet we’ve got something up our sleeve for Halloween!”

Ah. Makes sense. I was almost wondering if that WAS the Halloween event. Any idea how long that goes for?

The Halloween event should include accurate ranks, fixed spawns, your points actually being tracked, decent in-store content, and an overall enjoyable experience.

Why do games wait so long for a holiday event like this? Same with Borderlands, there Bloody Harvest is the end of October. I love Halloween and want things like this early in the month. We are already over halfway through October, let’s go… even if the event is late in the month give me some Halloween character and weapon skins now at least.
