Single stick movement cheating?

I was watching videos on youtube and people were using single stick movement and it just looks like the guys just cheating
I think some of the options can be exploited and makes the game easier for some people who use certain options and it gives and unfair advantage compared to normal players who play the game properley.
Settings like single stick movement should be removed so the game is fair.
There should only be 2 control schemes classic and tournament
As everyone is playing the same game they should be playing using the same controls

Absolutely not. Single stick movement is there to help out players with disabilities. And it can’t be considered cheating if the option is available to everyone

You could always try playing with it yourself to see if you can get used to it and improve your skills, but it definitely should stay.

it’s an accessibility feature that sadly is being abused by able-bodied players.

I liken it to using a wheelchair when you can walk perfectly fine. if you’re the kind of person who is ok with that then you need some help.

Using a setting to play a video game is absolutely nothing like this situation you’re describing.

Why the hell do so many people in this forum start personally attacking people’s lifestyle choices, state of mind, or generally make assumptions about a person’s personal life or thought process just for simply replying to a forum thread in a way that disagrees with their own opinion?!

Literally the only thing I said was:

  1. It’s for disabled people
  2. You can use it too

And now, all of a sudden, I want to steal your grandma’s wheelchair even though I can run a marathon?

It’s like the “claw grip” for the Xbox controller. It provides a huge advantage for wallbounce fights but it feels so wrong to my hands that I don’t use it. I still place high in matches.

Yh i doubt any disabled players actually play the game and use this setting.
Its just being abused by able people.
It should be removed cos everyone should have more or less the same settings except sensitivity

I never understood the legitimizing of certain controls or control schemes over others. This argument has been used against Elite controllers, mice, etc. If you choose to limit yourself, that’s on you. Why do people want to enforce worse methods of playing games? If you think your standard controller puts you at a disadvantage, then start walking upright.
