Should Lizzie Carmine's death be retconned?

I predict Marcus will die in a truck. I’m calling it

Snatchers apparently have some sort of biological instinct to well, snatch biological beings. Oscar used that in Ascendance to make two of them go after him while Kait was fighting two Speakers, instead of the Snatchers coming to their assistance. So if something presents itself to them, they probably can’t resist it.

But, that’s not the point. How would Lizzie have known Delta were about to exit the building right as that was happening, into the street where she was headed into? She must have been aware their order or goal was to reinforce Clayton at the construction hub. So why would she expect them to pass right through there? From her perspective, after realizing DB reinforcements would not arrive fast enough, the only option was to ram the Snatcher. Maybe the frag tagging was not necessary, but I don’t see it nearly as reckless or stupid like JD charging off into a silo with a rocket that is preparing to launch when it is full of Swarm after he was told risking his life for a plan that might not work for a Hammer satellite was not worth it. Besides that, Lizzie could have realized that it wasn’t always a good idea to be reckless when seeing what happened to JD in Settlement 2 with the Hammer strike if she’d survived. But she didn’t and won’t get any further character development so what’s the point.

Trucks are like 2-0 at this point on our favorite characters

Actually, Gary was killed by the COG(presumably).

And Kait and the Swarm are at 4-0.

Well I didn’t think about Gary–but also, the Swarm came after Reyna and Kait where they also killed Gary in the process. (Because he can be seen in the nighttime cutscene)

Make that Kait total 5-0

Giving Kait credit, she has a pretty good kill count rn.

Gary is a ■■■■■■■ juvie rn. That sucks.

They came after Reyna for all we know, they may not have cared about Kait in the village there and then. And I don’t really know whether the DB drop pod actually killed him or if the Swarm got him after that if he survived. I don’t remember seeing him in any cutscenes or “visions” Kait has.

It would be funny if the after credit scene for gears 6 is just Gary under a pile of rubble asking for bacon

Doubtful, he ran from his father’s bacon addiction.

He thought he could handle his own bacon addiction, sadly it cuts too deep into the Carmine genes

Maybe acknowledging Bacon addiction is the path to immortality for Carmine’s.

He appears in the background before the Swarm attack.

And maybe for both, Reyna seemed to want to protect Kait from them, hence trapping them inside. As if she knew they’d take Kait too but hadn’t yet realised she was there.

I was telling this to @AmicableWall421

Eating bacon is good source of plot armour and tomatoes which worked for Marcus,

Who’s to say Lizzie doesn’t eat bacon when she takes after Clayton so much? We just don’t know and have likely been denied the opportunity to find out.

PS There’s apparently an Outsider in Riftworm Village who gets really upset when you shoot one of his tomato plants. Unfortunately I don’t find it anywhere near as hilarious as the “Marcus Tomato Rant”.

That’s how all the characters with big arms live. They eat plenty of bacon

So how do Kait and other female characters(and Mac) live?
It’s not like they’ve got big arms.

They generally got big bois around them. Like Keegan for Mac, and Marcus with Anya, and Del with Kait.

And then they roll a 10 for luck

Well I guess that’s what doomed Lizzie then. She decided not to take a number from them and did her own thing, then JD tried to impress her and ended up killing her because of that.
