I think it should stay canon, mainly because I’m hoping that this finally gives TC a chance to bring the elusive fourth brother, D. Carmine out into the playing field, seeing as how Lizzie was his daughter, maybe we’ll finally get to see the second oldest Carmine brother in action

Could do what Disney did with Star Wars, scrapped all old books n comics and made new ones. Saying the new ones are cannon.
BUT, if the new stuff contradicts the movies, then it’s the movies you should take as cannon.
Seems it’s too hard for their writers of the books n comics to actually take the time to watch the movies before writing new stuff…
So, this is a game story first hand, books n comics second. And we don’t actually see her die, so yeah, could very much be alive. No matter what some after thought book says.
Would be a nice scene, having JD been throw of the side of a building or something, barely holding on with his damaged arm. And then a prosthetic arm reaching down to lift him and it’s Lizzie, having one side of her body damaged from the escape from the truck.

I just wish they keep a couple more carmines in the game I feel very sorry for them and also that carmine has suffered enough death of his family (in campaign games just once) . 
I also have an idea that they should do a story with Remaining carmines like a game about them.
They should retcon every death from that stupid campaign…
Nah. If they kill someone, they should stay dead. Though, I wish they redid Gary’s death and made it a cutscene.
This is the only one I wouldn’t mind. I mean, while it sure looked like she died, we never actually saw her death, did we? Sure, we saw what looked like a fatal explosion, but characters have lived through worse in other franchises. I could name a few. This wouldn’t be the most egregious retcon, would it? If they brought her back, though, she’d likely be severely disfigured which could be an unpopular move. Well, unless her amazing recovery could be explained away by technological advancements. On the other hand, it wouldn’t matter much anyway if a Carmine were disfigured, since we never see them anyway.

The only reason Clay survived was due to sales of an avatar t-shirt. All Carmines must die, that’s just how it is

If Lizzie’s alive, she’s majorly ■■■■■■ up. But I don’t think ole girls kicking anymore.

Watched it again. You don’t really see the truck get blown up. It’s just a huge HoD strike. The truck kinda gets blown away into the background. I suppose you could say it got incinerated, but it’s not 100% clear. Also strange how no one ever actually states Lizzie died. Even more strange there’s scenes with Clayton following Lizzie’s “death” and he never mentions it either. If they wanted to confirm her death, they could have easily added a small line for Clay such as “this is for you Lizzie.”

Considering Lizzie is a Carmine, I don’t think they felt the need to confirm her death lmao
They indirectly confirm it by the author going to the lengths of describing what was left to a degree in Bloodlines, because how they used the character because “Carmine” wasn’t enough of a slap in the face already. They didn’t even build on the relation between her and Clayton ffs.
If JD gets another Carmine killed, best believe Clayton’s going to be on him.
I’d be down with a twin sister (same voice actress) who joins Delta to get revenge for Lizzie’s death
Edit: revenge against who? Obviously the swarm but I’d like her to be angry at both JD (if he’s alive) and Baird for what happened, but to also be seething with intense anger towards Jin for not taking decisive action sooner and forcing JD and Baird to take such reckless and drastic measures.
Revenge on who though? Cause we all know who caused the death even if it was the Swarm who forced his hand(to a degree, I don’t think trying to use the Hammer everyone knew was not 100% reliable was the right call - anything less than 100% odds of such a weapon working are conditions to prohibit its usage).
And it won’t be Lizzie.
Side note, I wonder whether TC was trying to play at something with a Gear you can try to keep alive in Act 4 Chapter 2 until the end(the AI severely lacks self preservation instincts), which has a different voice actor than the standard ‘Casan’ female Gear, or if it was just a fun little gimmick they threw in there at the ending.
