The game is so laggy in ranked mode. EU servers are really bad. I have 17-25 ping and my ping is going up sometimes to 200 even more. Friends of mine in Spain are during the same issue. Did you guys get the same problem?
Questions you may be asking yourself right now;
-
Do the Gears 5 servers suck?
-
Are there serious ping issues?
-
Is there lag advantage for those playing on DSL wi-fi?
-
Is tuning weapons unnecessarily what TC does to try and make things better?
âŠand to these questions I ask you one of my own; is Canada cold?

Yeah Iâm on and theyâve suddenly gone laggy as hell
Almost unplayable
Youâre being too kind.
The US servers have been really bad lately too. Itâs back to rubberbanding on a 20ms ping and sponging by the enemy constantly. Add in rolling into cover rather than sliding which gets me killed and youâve got the perfect storm for me to say âgood byeâ game for a bit.
Same for me, eu and everyones pings are up and down. Seeing every symbol under the sun in the bottom right corner.
Just stopped playing for tonite.
THX TC

Seem fine to me atm
Yep, EU servers have been unplayable last night and today.
Just had a game that was fine the first round and then constant rubber banding in the second round, despite reporting a ping of 5ms.
I got paired with a Mexican 3 stack, their ping fluctuating from 180 to at times over 1000.
Lost connection, rejoined, lost connection again and⊠ban. It was only for2 matches, surprisingly those quickmatches felt like a better connection than a lot of ranked matches.
But even that had to be spoilt by the ONE round koth variant.
Same here, EU west servers. Ranked only as it seemsâŠ
My ping usually is 29-35. Today I had up to 1.995, then I got disconnected. After re-connecting it suddenly got better, but still spikes up to 200ms.
One ranked game before I LOST 1500gp because the server died before the game even started the first countdown (I did not quit, match was closed by server).
So in the last 2 days i got ranked down from Onyx 3 (50gp away from diamond) to almost Gold 3âŠ
