Gears 1 changed the game for online multiplayer. So many good times.
The only thing stopping me from getting Seriously is completing Horde on the launch maps. It is so tiring playing Horde for 2 hours per game, only did speed runs.

Just going to hop on and add that for some people, getting the achievements is the fun part. I have to admit, i enjoy Gears for what it is, but i have an urge to 100% it, hence why i am torturing myself in the comp playlist against some of the most toxic people i have ever come across.
For example:
At the end, when i get that rare achievement pop, i’ll be happy and to me, it’ll have been worth it.

Agreed. It’s all fake this, fake that. Gamesters making their balls feel big basically.
I love achievements also… & I get you totally…… I just hoped they could make the achievements for the next Gears more fun & less an obscure grind, so much fun has already been ripped out of Gears, $$$ £££, micro transactions, bots, focusing on competitive Gears, host advantage, lag, lack of servers outside of US, rip-off season pass, more old maps etc. etc.

Can’t you do it 25 waves private?
You can do it on private but not 25 waves has to be full 50 in one session on all launch maps.
Good thing I’m not a vs player!
How can you say its not a unique achievement??? Only 0.08% have it. Plus Seriously was never about skill but dedication to the game. Asking the players to get diamond rank would be a joke especially with this ranking system

Most achievements are going to be rare at this point due to the population disparity between current player base versus the number of players who ever loaded the game up on their console back when the game launched.
Even by taking a look at just my friends list, I see only about 5% of them were still playing Gears4 past the first couple months. Some people rent/borrow games, power through the campaigns and never touch them again. They are still included toward the achievement’s rarity.

Nope, definitely not possible. The only way to do this is search at the same time and hope you get into a match together.
Game is so dead that it’s easy to do that anyway lol.
Only half kidding. But yeah since you can just close the game in the pregame lobby and load it up again without penalty, it’s not hard to get 10 people in the same game. Especially if you have a PC player on each team.

I am not saying anything against anyone. All I am trying to say is the multiplayer variant should also have a stronger community of players than those just playing horde. Having an achievement that involves multiplayer variant just makes it easier for everyone to enjoy the game. There are days where people have hard time finding a versus match . If the achievement has something for people to chase for there would be a larger pool of players playing every game type and not just sticking to horde. Also versus is fun than to just stick with horde. I have friends who played this game for 3000 hrs with not a single multiplayer game. It just encourgaes them to play versus that’s all.sorry if I offended anyone but that wasn’t my intention .
The issue becomes not everyone enjoys versus just like not everyone enjoys Horde. There will always be achievements based around both modes but truthfully forcing a grind on either isn’t the best option either. I get where you’re coming from though and respect your opinion.

That’s why I like Seriously 2.0 the best. You can get it in any mode if you play it for long enough. Yes there are slow and fast ways of doing it, but you can play whatever you like, rather than “force” people to play a specific mode that they never play.

A diamond rank achievement is absolutely ridiculous . The requirements for the current Seriously achievements are bad enough

Yes…it’s the Horde requires that stop me getting Seriously 4.0. It’s too boring.
Boring and time consuming but easily accomplished.
I couldn’t get a Diamond rank even if I actually tried. My internet connection is too stable.
