There’s only 2 pages worth of custom games compared to 12 pages just a few days ago…this don’t look good. Am I jumping to conclusions?

It’s because multiplayer is absolute trash, compared to great game like gears UE.
I say that with many days of extensive threads and posts behind my comment.

With every passing day this game is dying due to insanely high weapon damages.
It was IMPERATIVE to nail gears of war 5 down from the start and instead they outright butchered it.
I do not want it to die. But they had a big chance here to hit it out of the ball park!

I guess it’s because of all the online issues and people are choosing to wait it out a bit until TC irons out the creases.
Borderlands 3 is right around the corner, several games are coming out soon. They won’t be back.

It’s the most played game on Xbox and insiders are reporting it’s doing insane player numbers. Sure it’s dead…

I’ve been wondering what the custom games is like. I haven’t been able to play gears 5 yet. Are there a lot of options with the custom games? How in depth can you go? Is there a host advantage or does it use servers?
It usually takes more than 6 months to straighten things in a game out.
I like that gears is more played than fortnite but gears just came out. Games often have more players when they are new or new content released. Give it a month and it might not be the same ><
Im not saying anything about that. There really hasnt been any games to come out that have beat fortnite.
The main point was OP saying the game is already dead when its not even close to that
A lot of people say a game is dead when it’s still going. Look at dead by daylight. People say that game is going to die for 3 years now. I would like them to fix some of the bugs in this game. In early access I felt like I paid money to beta test their game. This is perhaps the least polished gears in the franchise.

What I find weird is that Classic Quickplay throws me into a game with maybe one other player and the rest are bots. It seems like it’s not as populated as Arcade.
I want to know what dates that covers. Day 1 through 3 of release? Sure. Now? I want to see the numbers.

That article isn’t all that surprising to me nor does it tell me how I should view the game.
