It might be too late to implement this in 4, but for Gears 5, I was thinking maybe a different set of weapon spawns for each game mode and change them every season. This would keep each mode and map fresh and make it easier to bring both old and new weapons to the game. Thoughts?

I like this, it would allow for TC to bring back more weapons from the past, Gorgon, Scorcher, Sawed Off(which I hate), Mortar, HoD and of course the OG Hammerburst.
plus what ever new weapons come about in G5
All these flowing Ideas, there better be some TC intern sitting in a cubicle writing all this stuff down…
Good idea bruh. I like the idea of bringing back some old weapons as well. Especially Gorgon and Scorcher. I don’t get why they didn’t bring back the Mortar and Oneshot. Granted those are heavy weapons but I loved those 2. If they were gonna drop one of the heavy weapons they should’ve dropped the Mulcher since there’s not much difference in the Trishot. Mortar was wayyy better than the Mulcher imo.
Yea man I would much rather run up to the top of avalanche and battle it out for Mortar rather than the Buzzsaw or Trishot. That used to be the go to on Avalanche and Jacinto…
Cuz some weapons aren’t used at all depending on the mode. Take the Mulcher on Checkout for example; it’s useful in like Guardian or KOTH, but no one ever picks it up in TDM or Execution. If mulcher stayed on Guardian and KOTH but on TDM, it was, let’s say, switches between Overkill and Sawed-Off, more people would take fights over there over the usual fight to the longshot/embar.
