In summary of your comment i as a customer have paid Ā£80 for the base game, Ā£50 for a years xbox live and Ā£3/350 for the console and now i need to pay near on a quarter of the games price for a skinā¦ a skin. If a red light does not flash in your head your past the pale and not worth wasting time on.

So we shouldnt complain when they sell a weapon skin set piece by piece that totals to $90 for the complete set. Cosmetics should never cost more then the actual game.

An incomplete game that has a single player/co-op campaign, co-op horde, co-op escape and various PvP modes?
Thats more than you get with most $60 games.
Yea, I remember having to pay for dlc map packs that segregated the community and now the maps are free for the entire community. There will also be free hero characters and Tour of Duty skins along the way.
Call me crazy but Iāll take free over having to pay for that stuff.

Gears 5 doesnāt give you new characters to unlock they give you skins for a grindy tour of duty, filled with filler like banners, emotes,etc. I donāt see new characters or even old characters all I see are skins for the default characters like JD, Del, Kait, Marcus and the escape squad. Also Gears 3 never locked content, You could level up and the player unlocks the characters through leveling up, In Gears 5 leveling up is ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā because it doesnāt reward you with anything worth the grind. You have to do tour of duty to unlock characters.
Gears 3 never had a season pass, your talking without thinking, they literally sold you another story that they really didnāt even need to, but they did it for the fans, presenting characters like Michael Barreck, Valera, and a comeback like Tai and Kim, they released Beast Horde where you play as a locust against the cog which Iām pretty sure the fans asked for it.
You buy Raam Shadow and you would get, 4 new characters maybe 5 including Raam and a new campaign mission, plus donāt forget the call back to Judgement where they made Paduk and official character by having him be part of the story in gears 3.
Also donāt call anybody Moron on here, itās rude and disrespectful.

You paid $80 for the game and now donāt have to spend a single penny more and get actual game changing content for free, like new maps, game modes, hero characters and map builder for horde/versus maps.
In the past you would have had to continue paying to get new content.

Call me crazy but i would rather buy the game and a season pass and get everything.
If 5 was made like 3 as far as obtaining content goes, complaints would be non existent just a small minority of people that wouldnāt even be playing the game 3 months after release.

Oh yeah great pitch there about the free stuff, donāt forget the glitches in campaign when you play co-op online. The Horde class system is tied to characters so you need to play as them (forced to play as them if you like being a scout, or engineer). No duplicate characters because now they have special abilities. Escape match where it gets repetitive and could of been a different campaign since itās based on the comic, did you know that hoffman runs the escape team? That Tak the raven pilot is Hoffmans nephew?. Donāt call them heroes, it sounds like something out of overwatch, just call them COGs or Swarms.
Also the collab with that halo reach sucks because I donāt want to see Spartans in a game that has nothing to do with them in it

actually all that stuff campaign stuff you named came with the season pass. you just had the option to buy them individually. G3 didnt lock away with a ālimited time or must buy the season pass optionā. Which is why G3 is probably one of the best console games as far as DLC and season passes. thats not including the fantastic gameplay(despite OP retro and sawed off), campaign, multiplayer and skins.

Not me, Iād rather buy the game and not have to spend more money on it and still get the post launch content for free.
Not a single game changing item in the store so I can safely ignore it. The game changing content is free and I appreciate that fact.
