You still a scrub bro you point and shoot and I know scrubs plug in mouse and keyboard im not surprised gaming isn’t what it is anymore that’s why fighters are my favorite the skill gap will always be high mouse and keyboard controller doesn’t mean nothing if you don’t learn frame data or set ups or punishing there’s no combo assist if you going for big damage movement is your best friend pressing buttons get you wipped and experience player won’t lose to a noob not ever unless they purposely let it happen the RNG is not existence you can only blame yourself for losing other then lag

There have been times where I got domed but the smoke from the bullet was higher than where my head was.
i play on PC cause im not a peasant, turn off AA and see if you’re even half decent
You are a special case man. I have never heard anyone call PC players scrubs for playing with the mouse and keyboard, it’s usually the opposite lol

It’s incredible how many people still don’t understand what aim assist is, but continue to complain about it.
We know what aim assist is if we need assistance to aim why play at all there’s no aim assist in real life and shooting for the first time is not easy but we evolve and composite we have muscle memory if we keep getting assisted how can we expect to get better
Aim assist is on like all console shooters. If there’s a controller…theres more than likely aim assist. You realize this yes? This aim assist is ridiculous, I can agree but let’s not get too hyperbolic
Lancer nerf + Aim Asssist totally removed will be a good start to make GEARS 5 a lot more fun and balanced

Most people who are complaining actually seem not to know what aim assist is. Virtually every console shooter has aim assist. Every prior Gears game has had aim assist. Even Gears 5 Escalation/Exe has aim assist, albeit dialed down compared to other modes. Removing aim assist entirely results in analog sticks becoming an ineffective input mechanism. The debate here is not over presence or absence, but rather degrees. Thus, every person clamoring for “remove aim assist” really doesn’t understand the discussion,
Moreover, you have a whole group of other people who want to attribute issues with hiboxes, bullet magnetism, lag, and the kill cam to aim assist, which is an even worse misunderstanding than the “remove aim assist” crowd. “Aim assist” has basically become a catchall boogeyman for people on this forum to rail against any element of the game that they dislike.

Yup. Would love for the this screeching fanbase to get it together to have actual constructive criticism. Instead of confusedly spamming general “REMOVE AIM ASSIST! IT DOESNT BELONG!”. You realize to be taken seriously with feedback and criticism you should really be specific and at least convey what the hell you’re talking about. There’s how strong the aim assist, bullet magnetism, hotboxes, lag, and how accurate the kill cam is (it’s all kinds of ■■■■■■). Anyone glancing over the topics and sees “REMOVE AIM ASSIST” probably just gets a laugh if they know what the general meaning what aim assist even is

Removing aim assist on rank shouldn’t even be an argument there should be no aim assist on ranked PERIOD. Just stop and get better
