Yup. Would love for the this screeching fanbase to get it together to have actual constructive criticism. Instead of confusedly spamming general “REMOVE AIM ASSIST! IT DOESNT BELONG!”. You realize to be taken seriously with feedback and criticism you should really be specific and at least convey what the hell you’re talking about. There’s how strong the aim assist, bullet magnetism, hotboxes, lag, and how accurate the kill cam is (it’s all kinds of ■■■■■■). Anyone glancing over the topics and sees “REMOVE AIM ASSIST” probably just gets a laugh if they know what the general meaning what aim assist even is

Removing aim assist on rank shouldn’t even be an argument there should be no aim assist on ranked PERIOD. Just stop and get better

When you’re not smart enough to realize about every shooting game with a controller has aim assist. No its not “PERIOD”, turns out dummies don’t know what all systems are in place but instead just say “aIm AsSiSt”

Dude I’ve been playing this game 13 years. KOTH and guardian have AIM ASSIST meaning when you LEFT TRIGGER. It immediately goes to your enemy without you having to FOLLOW THEM with your sticks. That’s BAD GAMEPLAY. That’s NEVER BEEN IN GEARS and is tragically making the game BAD. So please sit this one out and get better in the game. You have no argument to keep that trash in the game. It’s not in execution or escalation and execution is eons better gameplay.
I saw example videos of this and my god that was horrible. Didn’t think it was that bad.
I have decided to only play Escalation and Execution from now on. That is of I can find a match in Execution.

Auto aim don´t belong to gears in any form. But for me it´s even worse with bullet magnetism.

it’s definitely worse here. yes you have been able to get certain angles in past games but this is something different, something worse

If I could I would. I love the movement.
I don’t know what version of the game you’re playing but that definitely isn’t the case in mine.
Wish I could get some of that lock on auto aim to help get me out of Silver 3.
It’s really too easy.
I am currently in Onyx 2 but I haven’t played a lot. Every time I play I go up so I’ll likely be Diamond 3 in no time and maybe even Masters depending on how the chips fall. I definitely have the skill to get Diamond 3 though.
Remember, Silver is the longest grind of any rank. Even the best players got stuck in there for a while.

KOTH and tdm have aim assist bro. It’s a fact. Go play those game types then play execution it’s an obvious noticeable blatant difference.
I didn’t deny it. I’ve always said it does. You said it blatantly guides you when you pull the left trigger which is false information. Yes, Gears 5 has way too much aim assist and going back to Gears 4 where I was a highly skilled player only reaffirms that. I actually think I’d play better with aim assist toned down than with it on at its current strength. I prefer competitive aim assist but I can’t stand Escalation 2.0
