I jumped into a random horde game and who do i see rocking Lift with a claw and a hammerburt? None other than @Ektope with the gold wings

Ohhh, no, the game kicked me, not the host, haha… Lost connection to serverz…
Well it didn’t seem to matter as credible sources have told me that match ended because of the host apparently quitting to the lobby soon after the JD disconnected(for unknown reasons, but control was seemingly transferred to Del when it shouldn’t have). If not for those two things you’d have been witness to the slaughter of enemies that was occurring in said match(I wasn’t there but I got some footage shown to me - damn that hijacked Claw is powerful).
Yes it is… You really dont need a JD, and Marcus’es ultimate running helps other team members since they all benefit from it (unlike artillery).
Marcus and Fahz make a particularly lethal combo… Clayton also, with homing salvo rockets too… Yeah, marcus, fahz, and clayton together, sitting on a cover in the base, works very well and is a lot of fun…
I want to also try Mac, he wont be as powerful as Fahz, but headshots will make his bleeding boltok, and active markza and retro very effective…
There are so many more options in a Marcus led game, the hardest part is to get clueless randoms to understand and cooperate… (We have to kick sooooo many JDs who join a “no JD” lobby and refuse to change/leave, duhhh…)
If I get a JD joining a lobby clearly labeled “No JD”, they’re getting the boot, no arguments. They had a chance to read the lobby title, it’s not my fault if they then don’t respect the lobby requirements out of ignorance. But that is one of the very few cases where I make use of the kick feature, other times being if someone joins in as a pointless duplicate character(why would you need two Lizzies on a high difficulty Escape run?), if a troll I recognize comes in, or if a player is being toxic/annoying in text chat(yet to run into one such example using a mic) too much after being warned of the consequences if the behavior continues.
It baffles me why people are so reluctant to not use a JD even on an Elite/Insane lobby. You definitely do not need one ever on those difficulties if your team doesn’t totally suck. I’ve played JD-less matches on both difficulties, including two on Allfathers where we had a Keegan instead and still killed several Matriarchs, a Swarmak, Kestrel, Carrier…
But I guess this is just this game. I’m pretty sure I’ve yet to randomly come across any forum member except Bleeding Pepper though. Which is probably in part due to the reduced time I’ve been spending in Gears 5 and playing very little of Incon/Master Horde(or just Horde overall) til TC gets their act together and provides actual proper balancing.

But what if that person is trying to rank up their JD or get the achievement? Do you not like the Freedom Lancer?
I don’t in the hands of a JD player. And I think that if they want to level their JD up there is plenty of lobbies more than happy to take a GL spammer to render every other offensive character in the game useless.
