The Gears 5 “Elizabeth Hurley” skin, aka the V-Day Sam skin showed up in the store today.

This was a requested skin from the bundle that people were waiting for. She costs 2000 gold.

I tried to bring her up in the store, and a triangle with an exclamation point in it with the text “Could not fetch price” appeared several times until she finally showed up for 2000 gold/250 iron.

I tried to buy her with 2000 gold, and the “processing” red bar just sits there until an error message comes up saying that I could not communicate with the server and that my purchase did NOT go through and I was not charged.

BUT I WAS CHARGED. I LOST 2000 GOLD JUST NOW BECAUSE THE COSTUME IS STILL LOCKED FOR ME, BUT THE GOLD IS GONE!

So here I am posting about it. Picture of what I am seeing. When she comes up as normal, she still is 2000 gold and NOT unlocked.

Anyone else had this happen to them today when the store refreshed? Thank you!

Thank you mods for moving my issue to this thread for me. GearsofHalo and I hope this can be fixed in a timely manner LOL! Worst part, this is a pretty good week in the store for stuff.

Got my re up rank but that’s about all. I’m missing all customization content including all character and weapon skins, bloodsprays, marks, banners and every single skill card that has either been earned or purchased. Is this one of the things that will be fixed when they release the retroactive reup rewards or do I have to create a ticket myself?

It’s probably server issue. It should get fixed in time.

If you still don’t have them by tomorrow, then you can send a ticket.

Pretty sure TC did that a few times during Gears 4.

It did garner some negatives, but only from unreasonable people.

The most common comment was that was the “only” time they had to play that day.

In fairness, updates should happen around 3am est. Most of us aren’t playing then. TC said they had to do it during main work hours to have staff available if there were problems.

I just bought sam from day V and my coins have disappeared and I don’t have the character. I hope you solve it soon

Should have expected some issues, I’ll play something else for the day.
Skill cards also are not active during horde just I case anyone was wondering

TO EVERYONE ELSE, ITS JUST RE-UPS AND COSMETICS. IT DOESNT CHANGE GAMEPLAY. THEY KNOW THEIR ARE ISSUES. ISSUES ARE GONNA HAPPEN WITH AN UPDATE LIKE THIS. JUST CHILL AND DONT BE AN A**. IT WILL GET STRAIGHTENED OUT. GO POP SOME HEADS AND SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE…
@qp_HOT_SAUCE_qp you were not “ROBBED”. You will get your skins. This is the biggest first world problem ever. Just tell them Nicely. Golden rule my man. Treat people the way you’d want to be treated.

There is ‘no skill cards’ issue which does affect gameplay.

There is no need to come across as aggressive for those voicing their concerns.

Look Tc ill be honest. I expected this happen. I knew there were going to be problems but I ended up going little mad none the less before I realized I already knew this would happen lol.

That being said I bought V-Day sam and Winter Baird. If I don’t get V-Day Sam back in the end of all of this then you and I are going to have some major problems. I will constantly hound you from every platform known to the world until V-Day Sam is safely returned.

I will wait patiently but I waited too long for this skin to reappear to let it go. So take your time, fix all the problems currently in effect, return V-Day sam and I will not cause a storm but if you don’t then I will tweet you, I will email you and I will call you!

@Ektope all I was referring to was re-ups and cosmetics. I said as much. This happens every time Ektope. You know this. You also know cards will come back online at some point. Probably sooner than later. You dont even have to really voice those concerns. I was also far from aggressive. If people wanna politely voice concerns…cool. If people wanna throw a temper tantrum and hurl insults at Coalition employees…very not cool.

Skill cards and customisation unlocks now show up for me.

So it may have been fixed.

We’ve just pushed some fixes through, please restart!

For anyone playing Gears 5 can you restart your game and see if

  • You’ve got the re-up/levels you should have got
  • You’ve got the retroactive re-up rewards
  • You can now see your PvE cards again
  • Store content should start to work

@qp_HOT_SAUCE_qp i had the very same issue you had…but last week. Not on an update day. I politely called Microsoft. They told me to go online and put in a ticket. I did that. My problem was handled very quickly. You dont have to be “done” over it. It can be remedied very easily.
Their isnt another game out out there that gives me “the juice” i get from cover slipping and Up-a’s and gnasher gibs and pop shots and wall cancels. Not 1 game even similar. So if your at least somewhat like me, you arent “done”.

not much is working at all right now… cant customize classes in PvE modes, cant choose which character you wish to play as, skins purchased are either non useable or show as not even purchased even though the iron is GONE… No skills avaiable to use in PvE modes, weapon skins not able to be changed currently without resetting back after a short time. matchmaking constant disconnects and buggy gameplay. its chaos right now in Gears 5 lol!

Everything seems to be working better for me now the only thing I’m missing is the team ice gnasher skin

I got my re-up changes and rewards but no boost is active on my end.
