All of the above. Hell one match I watched a 3 man stack on my team doing CQC all with Lancers against one player. Didn’t turn out so well for them. Smh. The death cam provides Vita information but F*** I wish I didn’t witness that.
Yeah, that’s one of those moments were you know you’re not likely to win because your teammates have 0 game IQ.

Btw. Have you tried solo queue on Koth in the past hour? My last 2 matches no stacks not even a 2 man. Hopefully TC adjusted something. I hope they did and this isn’t just luck
Glad they gave me a grinding system where the matchmaking and symbols are not representative of skill at all. Yea I have a rank I can clearly see going up and down but oh my god is the skill variance in the matchmaking absolute ■■■■■■■

Love the new rank system and majority of all the recent changes. As far as feedback:
Get rid of matchmaking system! Sometimes you sweat, sometimes you wipe, sometimes you have a good back and forth. That’s it.
Raise the GP caps in all the game modes. As well as points rewarded. Deaths should affect GP to an extent.
KOTH- Elims, 80 to 100 (keep 2gp per kill)
Capture, 10 to 30 (2gp per cap)
Breaks, 10 to 20 (2gp per break)
Deaths, cap at -50 (-1gp per death)
And pretty much carry the same trend through the other game modes. MVP’s should be rewarded a few extra GP also.
When ppl quit on your team your absolutely screwed. And in the higher tiers your Really Screwed! So if there was something that could be put in place were it significantly lessens the blow of a loss and greatly rewards a win when winning in a game where the odds are stacked against you. 4x5 or 3x5 for example.
Maybe receiving an extra 50GP for every player that quits on your team that gets thrown in after game.
Other than that. Love what I’m seeing. And really looking foward to the next operation!
The only problem I have with Ranked new and old system is the allowing of stacks playing against solo Ques. I get people wanna play with friends. But putting a COMMUNICATING 4 OR 5 STACK against all solo queing players is just unfair all the way around. Their should be a 2 party limit or a separate division for stacks to compete. Putting stacks again random ques is far from fair and far from an accurate representation of personal skill level.
Stacks very rarely have 2 or 3 really great players and then 2 ,or 3 tomato cans with potato aim. Yet that is usually what you get in random ques. Plus stacks play together all the time and they are communicating. Which .means they all know map rotations, are making call outs, and communicating on who’s doing what and getting what weapons. Getting beaten by a 4 or 5 stack usually doesn’t adequately reflect your skill.
Thats just my opinion. Playing against stacks is usually my biggest roadblock to ranking up to where I think I should be. And that’s not masters or diamond. Probably not onyx. But I definitely think im a gold player that usually has a hard time getting out of silver.
I played a few games today and everything was going well until one game when the connection to the server was lost and I was punished again with 16 hours.
As it has happened to me before, I hurried to take capture before it took us out of the game.
And no, I’m not even allowed to go back because there’s no game to go back to.
My doubts are:
Why do I get punished when I’m not at fault at all?
Why does he punish me so long when the ONLY times I have quit have been because of the game?
When are they going to solve this?






Solo play isn’t fun. I won’t get into the philosophical debate about whether core Gears was ever a team-focused game (cough it wasn’t cough), but that’s the long and short of it for me. I play solo, I can’t stand dealing with randoms, and I don’t have the time or energy to play consistently with a group.
I just want to jump in, demonstrate how much more dominant I am against everyone else as an individual player, and get rewarded for it. I can’t do that in this system, so I’m not having very much fun. Could be the fact that SO much emphasis is put on winning. Could be matchmaking. Could be a number of things, but that’s what I’m feeling.
Gridiron would be better if there was a bank of 15 lives and there was no flag. Just saying

I could say more about my impressions on Ranked if I could find matches…
also, we need points for a round win
feels incomplete to just see score going to the winning team while they still left a round to the opponents
also, I would like to suggest to cancel entry fee if there’s a quitter
or we desperately need something to address quitters, apparently rounds after someone quit still count toward the overall score
As much as I’d say thank you TC for the new ranking system, but sometimes I scream within the match: Please scrap it!
The new system has it’s up and downs but it buries the solo players down beneath the lowest ranks!
I compared my play-time between OP2 and OP4 Pre-Season, and I feel it’s 1/5 as one match renders me exhausted without any incentive to go more forward.
Carrying the team as MVP with more kills should come back, KOTH should not be only about capping, but also slowing down the other team from pushing to the hill by eliminating/killing them…
I prefer the ranking system like it was at launch. You could rank up on a lost match with a good performance. Seems fair to me. But then the people who performed bad on the winning team started crying that they loose points on a win. And now we got this crappy system.
So we still get penalised for quitting EVEN WHEN 2 team mates Feckk off first. Because that is fair
