    C. Ultra power drain, ultra slow recharge, reduced bleed damage, reduced heavy damage, reduced explosive damage, more health, more lethal.

  5. Should survivor be removed as a base mutator?

  6. Which combination of Horde Frenzy bosses would be more devastating on Master. (Making them pretty drastic, not real combinations).

6.How about Wardens?The problem with the warden is that he can actually execute you from anywhere.I remember on Canals I was on the bridge and the warden was below me and I got executed by him somehow.This other time I was on blood drive and when the warden was at the entrance of the diner and I was at the back part of the diner I got sucked into to him and he killed me.He scary

Exe-rules is by far the worst mutator. Ironman is fine.

Yeah Vasgar is tough and so is dam (imo). However, if you play with a good team then you should be okay.

Yea, wardens are pretty scary once they get through tge base. Best to kill him before they get too close. Marksman, tacticians, demos, and even vets are pretty good at taking them. A quick flash or shock could slow it down too in dire situations. As for being sucked into executions thats very unfortunate.

  1. Not for me. There are more fun mutators they could add along the lines of zero gravity etc and with lockers and ammo boxes, ammo isn’t really that much of a problem.

  5. No. A fail is a fail and i’ve never been a fan of restarting a failed wave.

  6. Don’t have any experience of a wakaatu on master but imagine that and a kestrel would be a challenge so G.

  1. Don’t really care, not too hard to get weapon lockers or an ammo regen perk or both. Would only remove having to swap weapons on a locker.

  2. They’re still around but seem to be less frequent than they used to be. Kind of boring to play during ult downtime or when you’re not running a Hijack focused build so I can see why people would not play it.

  3. Subjective, I see plenty of class variety in matches so can’t really speak to it.

  4. I reckon B and C would be equal in difficulty and annoyance factor.

  5. Should be an OPTIONAL feature for all difficulties like it was in Gears 4, for some kind of bonus tradeoff. Let the people who want to waste their time getting to the final wave then failing to some stupid game induced BS choose to not restart and those who want to start over on the same wave restart. Wouldn’t care if turned into a thing available only to custom lobbies, but my idea of fun isn’t to have to play the entire match all over because the game decided the Kestrel or Swarmak immediately charge down the base with every other enemy on the map.

  6. Can’t speak to it much, would likely also depend on the map as others have said.

  7. So far of the 50 wave Masters I have attempted, Vasgar was the most annoying partly because of players committing stupid things. Other maps I’ve not really played for 50 waves on Master because it’s a boring, stale slog. Frenzy, I can’t say if there’s any one map more difficult than another except Overload being very easy as long as nobody is stupid and shoots at the Matriarch on wave 8/12 right at the beginning of the wave.

You must get through some bullets. Primarily a boltok user myself at the moment switching from anchor to nomad and usually get by with one box per wave.

You realize that Mac usually has a perk that regens ammo for his Boltok, right? Lahni isn’t exactly viable in PH either.

Escape is a really bad example when there’s certain characters that break the ammo-ecnonmy entirely to the point where you don’t know what to do with all the ammo.

And as long as you know what you’re doing you’ll never run out of ammo with any class. Sure, some classes need a locker eventually but if you constantly run out of ammo something’s wrong with your team.

Leaving all that aside, the bleeding Boltok isn’t exactly Macs go to weapon in Horde - Master. Enemies won’t bleed out and Bullet Chain allows for some hefty damage with the Longshot.

  1. Sure, why not? Could be a “toggable” mutator like in campaign to either increase/decrease points (that’s how it should’ve been from the start tbh).

  2. Idk, haven’t played for a while. Unless they patched their Ultimate duration “bug”, Jack is still extremely powerful (I posted a dedicated thread here about it). With the new skill cards, even more than that.

  3. I assume? What about Tactician though? Rocking those basically infinite Boomshots can be kinda fun. (again, haven’t played for a while)

  4. Out of your options, option B is definitely the worst. If you want to make it even worse, add some freezing enemies since those insta-kill you instead of downing you.

  5. I don’t care about this mutator, never did.

  6. I haven’t fought the Wakaatu in Horde yet so I can’t judge it. The worst enemies are (in open fields) the Kestrel (if you want to add Sentinels, then those too) followed by a Swarmak and then a Matriarch. With a good team that knows what they’re doing, it’s really just the flyer that are an issue.

  7. Icebound is even worse in my opinion. Vasgar is quite alright. You can easily setup on either side on the elevated parts of the map.

If you use the fab to cut off the back stairs access all enemies are forced onto the catwalk… Then you just need to worry about flyers, which is an issue on any map, i guess…

But if you wont do that, yeah, i guess it is an annoying map…

I beat it with today’s modifiers first try in the spawn(because I was not interested at all cheesing the tower) with Gunner, Infiltrator, Mechanic, Marksman and Robotics Expert. It’s more down to teammates and possibly also classes present in match, I would think.

Nope, if you actually throw them in front of Juvies they usally get killed while walking through them and Scions/Wardens can’t do anything while walking through them + the initial explosion immediately gets rid of Sentinel/Guardian shields.

What card would that be?

Why would you ever shock-tag a Juvie if he’s already in melee-range?

It says it’s frags only but I’ve had surprisingly effective results throwing a bunch of shocks or incendiaries at Scions and other bigger enemies with the class, though being uncertain if that was just a result of the extra grenade capacity.

Haven’t tested further because I only played the promos on Jingle Juvies in Horde for the most part so I wouldn’t have to bother with them further after they got to level 20.
