Random Controller Vibration On Windows

I reached out to TC on Twitter and have spoken with them about this problem but it seems like they have stopped responding so I will pick the brains of the forums and maybe someone here knows.

When I jump into cover or perform an Active Reload, the vibration motors in any of my Xbox controllers start to ramp up in speed and won’t stop until I jump into another piece of cover or another action that would usually trigger a vibration (like performing an Active Reload). I’ve read some posts online and remember seeing somewhere that people were having this issue when Windows Update 1803 hit. And I have updated my controllers drivers, and this is both wired and using the wireless adapter for Windows. No matter how I choose to connect my controllers it always ends up having this weird issue, and it is only while playing Gears 4.

Anyone have any ideas?

Some of my friends had this issue and some didn’t. Idk but I just wanted to let you know that you’re not the only one

Well that’s comfortating. I hope I can find a fix but I guess it’s not the worst thing in the world if I have to play without vibration on.
