Question about LFG

I’m an '06 Gears vet, and along those lines an old-head if you will lol. Most of my Gears crew have moved on, and I mainly play these days with one other person.

That being the pretext, those of you who have used the Looking For Group feature, how was your experience?

I’m specifically interested in learning how the experience was for those of you who used LFG for ranked/versus Gears sessions.

What was it like? Was it better than queuing up solo? Were the teammates better in your LFG group versus random matchmaking group?

Thanks for your time in advance!

Just from general experience across many games, LFG is 100% better than matchmaking with randoms, purely because everyone is automatically partied up, most people have mics, and if you set your preferences correctly, you’ll at least get a decent team who communicates.

I’d say it’s slower to build a team from LFG, but it’s worth it most of the time. That’s my two cents.

I see. @l_l_C_L_O_W_N_l is the man you want to talk to, being a hardened Veteran himself.

Personally I’ve never used the feature.
