To be totally honest I saw a couple of people mention it on the forums. I was a bit sceptical myself and haven’t seen the original source. The other posters mentioned that Fergusson specifically mentioned that several characters would definitely return - most were predictable ones like Tai, Bernie etc, and Alex Brand was the only one that stood or from the list.
In all seriousness, I hope that is the case. If they do add Alex Brand, I swear I will become TC’s biggest defender/white knight/a.sskisser/**** rider/whatever the world has ever seen.

To clarify, apparently SASX Shadowz, the Gears streamer claimed it in a video and they claimed it came from Rod Fergusson. My post on this was 9 days ago, so at a guess this news came about roughly 2 weeks ago? I’ll have to double check which video it was. I honestly don’t remember if I saw this video myself or if it’s secondhand info from someone else who did.
That’s nice but really you don’t need to sift through tweets and forum posts just to find. I believe ya.

Not saying it topped that one, but the xb360 Alien vs Predator was ok for a playthrough. Went through on Hard difficulty. Challenging but fun. Alien and Predator campaigns at least. If I wanted to play as a human I’d play a standard FPS. I did it for the achievements eventually but let’s face it the draw of playing an AvP game is being able to play as the xeno or predator.

Give me a worthy character. I’d rather have Bernie. She at least has a similar incident in her past but doesn’t whine about it all the time or treat people like crap because someone else hurt her a long time ago. I get it trauma does make you lash out at people but… every time someone opens their mouth. Brand constantly runs her mouth to the point Bernie actually had call her out about it and tell her to shut the _ up.
How about Tai or Pad Salton or Adam Fenix? Bai Tak? Dom’s brother Carlos? Anya’s mother who was actually involved in the raid of Aspho Point? (Make her a skin for Anya even).
Louise Settile, a cold-hearted but efficient character from the books who’s a member of the COGs equivalent of an FBI field operative (and who just happens to be a woman)?
OR…maybe Lizzie Carmine, who is actually in Gears 5 and is being requested?
Tl;Dr we need lore based characters and Alex Brand is not something we need in The age of political correctness.
