Please TC, Untie Difficulty&Mutators

Y’all ever wondered why lobbies are never chill? (not saying they don’t exist but let’s be real, that happens once in a blue moon) Forced Mutators that’s why. Nobody and i mean NOBODY wants to do a Inconcievable/Master run when you know you’ll have to either sweat like crazy (cough Pilot being a 2nd rate punching bag with the silverback cough) or being a meta snore fest. How do you fix this?

Separate Difficulty & Mutators. That way if you want a more traditional & “chill” experiance while having fun with your classes, you can even in Inconcievable/Master at the expense of a slight loss of XP, Score and card drop rate. If you want to spice things up, add mutators that increase score, card drop rate and XP gains.

Horde at it’s core, is fun, the class system is a excellent addition but the current difficulty model only encourage meta sweat-fest even on medium difficulties since mutators ■■■■■ up the balance massively. These kind of games should be the exception, not the norm.

INB4 this topic gets ignored by TC cuz Christmas, Merry Christmas everyone.

Mutators, at their core, were always meant to be optional. Guess TC didn’t understand that when making Horde 4.0.

I think that needs to be the next step now that horde has been corrected, and escape has more options.

Operation 6 or 7 needs to divorce difficulty and mutilators as they separated classes and characters.

We must keep pushing to reclaim Gears 5 from the stupid garbage TC added.

What sucks is that in addition to the “more health” “more lethal” “more accurate” mutators that come with each extra difficulty setting, there is also a passive difficulty increase with each difficulty.

This idea sucks that’s an excuse for say : "oh I don’t have time and I’m not willing to grind in master runs just let me design a custom.lobby with all the easiest mutators and still works as master cause I can’t face the current difficulty level*
