If they don’t nerf the lancer they need to at least buff the gnasher to gib at no less than 20 meters. They can fix it that way.

I know right! Just remove every other gun from the game. No picks lancer or snub. No power weapons. Gnasher is king. I believe in my lord and savior the gnasher.

If you play coop vs AI, there is Always going to be at least two people using gnashers. They run around and basically kill every boy, even if you downed them.

I wish they would fix their AI because I should NOT be the only one getting shot at!
My teammate is right In front of them killing them all, but no they just keep shooting me until I’m down or dead. Never mind my teammate running to them with a shotgun from across the map, I’m somehow the only threat in the whole team…
Coop bots are a bit flakey in their gameplay choices, and they are maybe just a little to good with getting lancer headshots. Incidentally, whenever you see someone complaining about lancer being too strong, it’s probably an effect of playing coop vs ai.
It’s N word or nothin.

I play co-op vs AI a lot, and I understand feeling of a laser is ripping through you no matter the distance between you & it, but nerfing their lancer will do close to nothing when the AI still have aimbot.

Before OP 3, there was 2 difficulties of Co-Op VS AI. Since the start of OP 3, there is only 1 difficulty, but still two choices when searching for a match.
What really pisses me off about the AI in this game is that they SEE YOU THROUGH THE WALLS!! They know where you are and they keep shooting at you, non-stop, even if they can’t “see” you. So it’s impossible to peek out for a shot, because they instantly hit you, from the fire they are laying down…
I had this great clip from Forge, I was playing solo split screen, Grace and Jack… There was only a single Stump left, in the middle by the frag spawn… Jack was outside cloaked looking at him, and Grace was inside, up top. The stump was shooting at her… Well, into the wall behind she was… Then i moved Grace to one of the openings, and via Jack, you can see the stump adjust its fire, tracing her movement, shooting INTO THE WALLS, with no way of seeing her… And then the instant she poked out to throw an incends, boom, she’s down… Because it was already shooting at her, even behind the wall…
This is, IMO, total BS…
Anyhow, Beginner bots in coop are stupidly OP for “beginner”… There is nothing beginner about them… I don’t care/mind them, but if a real beginner tried to play it, they would be screwed and would leave the game in an instant…

I can’t stand the VS AI in Gears 5 so I just play VS AI in GoW 4
It’s not that they’re too strong they just never switch to the Gnasher so you end up being fired at by five lancers at all times.
But honestly even then Beginner Co-Op AI is so damn easy to cheese and just sit on a corner as they run into your Gnasher with I’m very concerned that the easiest enemies in the game need a nerf.
Maybe the people who claimed Gears 5 was super casualized were right.
It’s not the lancer, it’s the aimbot settings. They turn regular lancer fire into lasers due to their insane lock on and firing ability. Even when I run up to a bot, if I even miss one pellet, I immediately see their gnasher come out and shoot/kill me before they even hold it in both hands. The bots literally insta-gib me every time with a one handed gnasher due to that aim bot setting being turned up to 100.
At least they were fun in gow3 due to epic using player profiles on bots… even insane bots were fun in 3 because they didn’t aimbot you down and played like actual players, unlike4 and 5’s bots who are unfair at anything above beginner difficulty.

I think you replied to the wrong person because I didn’t talk about the lancer.
I know the AI is supposed to have aimbot assist(I seen it in action slot since I play coop vs AI a lot too) but I never seen them use the chainsaw on it.
