What @ll_R_E_D_l is getting at, is that there is a clear distinction between “noobs” and rubbish players. “Noob” being a shortening of “newbie” - i.e.: someone who is new to something.
Players who have been playing this for ages can still suck.
We were all noobs at some point. Some people get better, others don’t so much.
I think what we have here, is usage of the term “noob” as some sort of a generalised insult.
Or they stay the same. Hence, why I call them noobs
Which proves my point that you’re incorrectly using “noob” as a generalised insult. “Noob” literally means that someone is new to something and therefore lacks abilities and knowledge about it.
However being a rubbish player is a broader term and references their ability with no reference to how experienced they are. Noobs and experienced players can both be rubbish players.
This is versus only: I use the term noobs when players use sawed of shotgun (gears 3) retros and b bash the players. Those in my eyes are noobs

I’d say that they’re cheap player, but not necessarily a “noob”. A “noob” is defined as being a “newbie” - a new player.
Whatever you say is not gonna change whatever I say bro.
But I’m not the one that’s saying it. It’s in the dictionary. I’m happy to call those kinds of players all kinds of things, but “noob” just isn’t accurate. That’s like me saying that a zebra isn’t a zebra, but is a horse (with stripes).

Some people do genuinely want Gears on other platforms, but realistically I don’t see this happening while MS owns the IP.
Of course they do but it won’t happen. Basically Halo and Gears is MS flagship titles. They need those to keep xbox relevant somewhat. You send Gears or Halo to PS, good bye xbox.
It will be Christmas again, every year we get these people that never played Gears before and go mental. It happened when Gears of War 4 became Free on Gold. Damn that was painful.
Imagine PS players getting to grips with Gears for the first time, that is alot of new players at the same time. It will not be painful, it will be torture.
If this were to ever happen, it might be a case of put down your Pad and leave, Gears is finished. (Total exaggeration there, or is it).
