If it’s in quickplay then I generally just try and match the energy from the other team whoever it is, cause there’s enough people going try hard for no reason in quickplay already lmao. But yeah if I see a gt I recognise I definitely don’t slack off at first for fear of being made fun of baha
Is it also intentional when you disappoint your parents?
How dare you. I don’t disappoint them. I just set the bar really, really low. They’re impressed that I can make coffee tbh.
I’m impressed you can spell coffee tbh.
I used spellcheck tbh.
Ah good topic, quick shoutouts too

For being exceptionally good players all around, and being as forgiving as they are skilled. Great people to play with any day of the week
Now as for the main topic, I am very confident in my pvp abilities (granted the servers are working properly), I usually bounce between onyx and diamond (right now I’m onyx 3) I’ve never had a team to go to the top with but feel as if I could have easily had masters if I did. A good amount of times I’ll get people in verses that know me from the forums and they like to act in awh like they are meeting a celebrity or something lol, which is nice but I ain’t nothing special
Horde i also feel pretty competent at, although playing with people such as @Hu1k_Daddy I do feel the need the ask a good amount of questions cause this mans just knows so much more about little aspect some people may just not think about, and sometimes I worry that can make me a tad bit annoying, but at the end of the day i always feel like a better player coming out of matches including him and many others.
Now escape is where I get the most intimidated, if I play with anyone I always feel the need to ask what class and set up works for each map and how the maps work in general (I dont think I’ve played every escape map yet) I dont like going to in solo ques for escape in fear of being left in the dust throughout gameplay. And I feel I do this to myself a lot of time cause as stated above I am a competent player but just being it’s the least played mode for me, still taunts me in my nightmares. And due to this I easily make simple mistakes where I shouldnt, all out of pure nervousness of messing up someone elses game. But since the dlc I’ve been playing it a lot more and working on my confidence in the hives.
But that’s about the wrap for me
Asking questions is always a good idea. Communication is what makes teams good. I dare say that effective communication at times makes hard matches easier. Please never feel bad about asking questions; it is so much better than going ignorant or making bad assumptions
Thanks for the shoutout @xXARslayerXx much appreciated
Now for me it’s different. I don’t really take ANY game I play seriously anymore. Unless I’m playing ranked or directly competing against my friends for a fun little FFA match. Sometimes I join an online Versus match in Gears to just emote at people or bait snipers Into shooting me by running directly in front of their line of sight until they run out of ammo or kill me or in Siege I’ll start dancing in front drones or giving the opposite team most of my utility, mostly because I believe its refreshing to break the intense focus everyone’s having in game with some light hearted fun.
That being said, I’ve haven’t played much matches with the members of this forum as much as I’d like to but In the instances that I have I wasn’t worried about my performance because most of the time I just come up with the dumbest strategies I can conjure from my brain and test them out.
Most of the time they never work though lol
Woah woah. I am only critical in PvP
As long as people stay in Horde that’s all I care about
For me it varies. Some days I don’t care how I play lol. But most days I’m trying to bring my A game.
Also, for some reason I play better when I’m not on my mic. I tend to get distracted when I talk about things other than the game.
And when I see a familiar game tag in a lobby I usually just smile but don’t feel the need to jump over my head to impress.
I guess I’m in the minority because I get really nervous on the off chance that I get a member in my team. Also whenever I randomly get someone on my friends list who is a lot better then me. It is less now because the time when I would really get anxious is trying to master a brand new hive. Don’t have to worry about that anymore, thanks TC. Merry Christmas!
Damn dude,
Thank you. That was really nice and I hate that we didn’t get to do the campaign at all. Son has been keeping me busy.
But yea always feel free to ask away man. Never bothers me at all, I mean I asked @avaramis like a thousand questions about escape so I know what you mean.
But I really enjoy playing with you also bro. I hope I’ll see ya on sometime dude.
Cheers!
Nah Snakey! You just fly around as Jack with a gnasher or walk around holding a salvo in one hand, confusing the crap out of everybody lol.
Since the game has so many bugs and glitches and the servers are always
themselves, it’s easy to just blame our stuff ups on the game.
I always play with my ping between 120-200 depending which of my friends is hosting, so lag is not new to me. Teleporting is a big issue lately and many deaths as a result due to that.
I play for fun and don’t take anything serious anymore. Playing with forum members everyday and just enjoying myself
Don’t worry about it at all mate. Just blame it on the game! “Sheeeeyat I’m lagging guys”
Don’t sell yourself short Lambo. Your pretty awesome at Surge
I hate overselling myself too
I love your spin and your great positive attitude. I will adjust!
If there’s forum members, I just feel like I want to at least give the team the best possible chance of success. When I do random lobbies, especially lately with the bonus skill cards or XP, there’s times I’ll choose an “off-class,” or one that I don’t have a lot of experience with. Sometimes this can go well, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s a small risk with big reward. If I do well and we win, I get a big win: the bonus cards/xp for my less-used class. If I do poorly and we lose, it’s only a small loss, because well, I don’t know these guys anyway. However, I’ll admit I feel compelled to avoid choosing an “off-class” if forum members are present, because I don’t want them to be my guinea pigs. I wouldn’t do that to them. Not so worried about someone calling me out on the forum for a bad performance. Actually, don’t think that’s ever happened. Even if they did, I feel like I can defend myself anyway. Most of the regulars on the forum are at least respectful when it comes to calling others out.
