People who play Horde constantly, do you find Infiltrator annoying if they do most of the killing?

In horde I try to live by one rule

If you get all the kills by pure coincidence then fine but if you are one of the old JD meta players then its a straight up kick. Majority of the time there will be defendable lanes and players defending but if you constantly move between lanes killing everything then we have a problem lol. I was on Forge recently and had a Tactition, formerly known as Keegan lol, constantly move from lane to lane bombing the hell out of everything that walked. Players got annoyed because they were left with little to fight and it made for a dull experience.

I only ask that players who want to kill everything do so in their own lobbies and not join other games to solo a map lol.

I only care about winning, ribbons are nice for some extra xp, but that’s just a bonus.

The only class I found annoying in the horde regards was Marcus, with skip and endless headshots, that was just plain boring.

Infiltrators are good boss killers, so <3

I’ve been kicked for outclassing other players as either Infiltrator, Blademaster or Marksman. Some people find it offensive to be…offensive, their loss I suppose.

Do you use Healing Jolt? I can’t imagine any other reason to use Pickup Distance.

What is the OP strategy?

I don’t get annoyed when an assaulter gets many kills but I do get annoyed when an assaulter gets too few kills.

If you have played like 4-5 matches then your cards may not be maxed. Just wait to see how much you can do when every card is at level 6. Keep it up.

Can you tell us about this OP combination,?

No my build is Laceration, Blood Resonance, Reaper, Enhanced Stim, and Stim Batteries.

I only use Pick up Distance when I play with randoms. It keeps dumb players from trying to steal kills so they can take power. Had a Blademaster the other day who wasnt satisfied with just getting kills on the other end of the map, they would rush over to me and literally kill the enemies right in front of me just to take the power. Other players would try to rush in and compete with me to pick up power which is mostly why I use it in random lobbies (not public but open custom lobbies). It’s an excellent troll. I only do it when I see them start trying to steal. Then I just slightly move towards it and they get the message pretty quick since they have to actually touch it and I dont.

So… Thus far seems like people in the official forums (and I hope randoms on the game as well) don’t really mind if they are having their “fun” taken out. I can also confirm that a good Sniper /Fahz is constantly able to outscore me, which is nice

I just hope I’m not kicked from matches lol. Thanks a lot to anyone who took their time to answer

I couldnt care less… The faster you kill them the faster the gsme goes…

Just dont expect me to go out to pick you up if you go down, you’re on ya own, buddy…

Exactly :joy::joy::joy:

I don’t find it annoying in my opinion, I honestly wouldn’t mind having players in my team who is good at popping heads. (Marksman) or good as using shotguns (infiltratorr). It’s not like aimbot veteran (broken Marcus) role from old operations where you could blind fire to kill enemies to wipe out the entire wave, playing as infiltrator and marksman it takes skill.

I guess this worked out lol. Just completed a Master Horde in Reclaimed. Don’t know exact time but it “only” gave 3 stars of Play time so it took less than 2 hours. Way better than the first days… I remember when the meta involved Jack and Forges and matches would last like 3 hours…

Take all the kills you want. I like maximizing staying alive. The major problem is that those players have a tendency of constantly going down, especially on master level, and just wait until the elite drones and Scions spawns. Every time I see someone playing that aggressive style I just wait until they start going down, because it’ll happen. And they’ll expect everyone to come running out to get them because they’re doing the “most kills”.

I’ve not had any problems with this, as usually people seem to want to win. There are crazy people out there though.

Well Infiltrator is a bit of a catch 22(?).
You need to be a daredevil to survive, yet that also puts you at the risk of going down easy lol
A infiltrator without stim is, well easy pickings.

There are only two things I find annoying about horde mode; the stupidity of the enemies, and my inability to use my Locust skins in said mode.

Outside of that, I usually play a support or tank role anyway, so I couldn’t care less who does the killing, just so long as it gets done.

Infiltrator is incredible because you essentially give everybody else on the team breathing room, changes up the strategy a bit I feel.

In terms of raw damage output excluding bosses Infiltrator isn’t the most ridiculous of classes, that honor goes to Marksman. If you wanna go into a lobby and just completely trivialize the waves Marksman does that best. Infiltrator is really great but also very dangerous so if you see an Infiltrator not get killed every other wave understand its because they are good at the game lol.

play on overload, it will take far less, lol…

The only times I ever have a hard time with infiltrator is on waves 40+, as that’s when enemies start doing enough damage to literally rip your stim apart in 1-2 seconds. You almost have to start playing a bit more conservatively then, but other than that, the class is absolutely nuts.

I’m not the type to care if someone kills an entire wave on their own. I’m admittedly guilty of doing this with Fahz on occasion.

Never had anyone ask me to stop, so I’ve always assumed most people enjoy me soloing a horde match for them lol.

I’ll have to keep in mind that not everyone may enjoy that I suppose.

For me it’s ok looks u know how to play the role so… Do your work and if you want team send me DM
