I think it mostly has to do with MS. I mean they are publishing it and decided to put the game on GP day 1 so they would need to make money from it somehow. By making the game pertain to casual players it means there’s a higher chance of them spending money at the marketplace thus making up for the potential sales if it wasn’t on GP.
TC couldnt sell Gears if they wanted to. They dont own it
Microsoft wants people to subscribe to GP. Its more money for them in the long run, thats why all first party games will be released on GP day 1
What are you talking about? We got the best Gears campaign since 3, and horde is better than ever; I just wish we had mutators back in private.
