TC said something about “position-obscuring fauna” on the map, but I haven’t seen it yet(does it only appear in Versus?). What’s it about if anyone knows?

I think the map is fine.
Pahanu is fine, i really like it, swamp, green, coloful, finally a map that looks vey different!
How is possible that after bunker you create most stupid and ■■■■■■■■ map of all time? Nobody is playing bunker and nobody is playing that garbage of map…
Explain why.
lancer fest 2.0
I wish I could live in the universe where nobody plays bunker.
I’ve never seen it as a Lancer fest–granted I don’t think I’ve ever gotten it in VS other than Luck of the Draw.
The new map is very lancer friendly. There was definitely no need to add 10 extra bullets and shorten the active time, TC really knows how to please the fans
We need a gamemode that should take away one Loadout weapon of the Loser’s choice and then have it reset one the fifth Round. So you can take away Lancer, Gnasher, Snub and Smoke. And on the Fifth everyone is relegated to Melee and on the Sixth it rests.
Actually that sounds fun.
It was definitely a lancer-heavy map in my experience, hard to get up close for those 1-on-1 shotty battles, but I did have a good handful of the 1-on-1’s.
I thought the map was pretty cool, the spawns were pretty predictable, but the enemy definitely takes A LOT of lancer bullets lol
I thought the actually map was pretty cool though.
And now lancer have 40 bullets… And gnasher is only 6…
After playing Pahanu KOTH at least 10 times today, I can conclude in saying that it’s one of the worst Gears maps I’ve ever played and that I’m never voting for it ever again.

I thought it played (and looked) pretty good, I like the horde possibilities and I liked the Gridiron play but I’m not sure about KOTH since I’m not too into that mode. I wouldn’t pick bunker or the ungodly mess that is icebound over this though.

Update: After playing Pahanu many times, I actually really like it.
Learn to lancer and play sneaky 
Only played it one time on TDM and it was the worst experience I’ve had on this game. Trying to get close to the enemy was futile, as I’d just get killed by someone chilling in the grass or cross lancered leading to an instant death. The markza didn’t help at all since it was nerfed AGAIN. So, to avoid wasting respawns we had to play conservative AF, resulting in a match so boring I was ready to say ■■■■ it, and just turn my Xbox off mid game.
Four months we’ve been waiting for new maps, and all we get is ■■■■■■■ Canals and ■■■■■■■ Bunker 2.0.
Canals isn’t really fun anymore, it’s a good map, just over played through Gears 4.
I’ve only played Pahanu on KOTH - pretty intense matches!
Lol for real I hate that map so much I rather play bunker lol shoot me lol plus everything about op3 sux and hate the new movement and tuning and hate how they took Guardian mode of rank why are they dum Lol take escalation off nobody cares for it and there new mode gridiron is a fail
