Yeah I’ve seen two people now if you are saying you want 4v4.

Everyone else wants 5v5. I fact the vast majority do.

It takes me less than 2 minutes to find a king game. Its been that way since the game launched. Hasn’t changed much since. 4v4 isn’t gonna solve what they want
You obviously have not seen the weapon imbalance of Gears 5. Gnasher is OG - stay quiet while TC fixes this mess
I wouldnt be surprised those voters were based because of “nostalgia”, lets be honest, twitter tends to have the most casual gamers in every gaming franchise.
They would probably play the game for a month and then ditch it until the next operation releases.
The poll was from a former pro coach ( he coached in gears 5 season 1), so it’s safe to assume a good portion are current comp players.
But as I said, everyone has their own opinion. I was simply letting some folks know there are players that have been wanting these changes.
I know and thanks for the info. But being a pro coach or a pro player doesnt sell it for me, (Specially when the game was way different in op1, noob friendly)
My problem with “influencers” its that their opinions tend to become “the real deal” because their fans will just parrot what they say without questioning if its good or not. It even happened back in gears 3 with the retro lancer and the sawed off, or when everyone wanted to hyperwallbounce because someone on YT was doing it.
Honestly most of the arguments ive read in favor of 4v4 tend to always be “because it worked in gears1”

It’s almost like being sceptical about forthcoming changes is a good thing instead of just blindly accepting 100% it’s healthy for the game.
And I’m talking about all the changes as a whole, you’re saying “but the character changes!” Like that was all of what was coming from the PVE side.
Clearly that’s a good thing.

I was pulling you up on what you said about the skill card changes, then you brought up the lack of escape hives again and the nerfs…
Just watch the stream, I’m only telling you what I’ve heard from them, the nerfs are gonna sit in the developer playlist and they’ll act on it based on feedback, the lack of escape maps is down to lack of resources and the fact that people play horde and versus a lot more than escape so shifting resources to make multi gamemode maps makes total sense and that is the trade off…
And as a PVE player just by reading up on op5 I can already tell horde is going to be way better without even playing it… because I play it…
Either way game was originally 4v4 an had the best visuals dark horror wise… Gears 2 imo if it didnt have lag switches an host servers it would be the best gears game …an the ranking system is better than this mediocre one before they made it level progression based.

In fact probably spent more money on the game than all the Twitter warriors & im not alone.
Most of us forum members have spent serious money on this game.
But yeah let’s listen to the pros who were handed millions to play & burned their platform to the ground & now play for $10!!
yeah i spent around $350+ on gears 5 already. i would continue as long the game is something worth playing. i couldnt care less about the competitive portion of the game, the game needs to be fun full of adrenaline. 5v5 and faster paced not 4v4 turtle fest. 
I’m looking forward to play with all these updates. Hopefully it will make this shi**y KOTH game mode better.
Now that Gridiron is gone, this is literally my last shot at Gears 5.
I’m really scared that this will happen again just look what happened to the Flash Grenade, especially to weapons like the Retro Lancer which is one of the best weapons in Horde/Escape but I at least hope some of the Claw buffs like Rate of Fire increase and removed weapon jam apply to Horde/Escape

Don’t remind me. Ice Queen was a pain in the ■■■ until they buffed them again… You would have flashes going off right underneath Grenadiers and they didn’t give a single ■■■■.

As a PVE player, the addition of the scorcher, 5 new maps, 7 new characters and the complete overhaul of the character class system Its safe to say horde is going to be way better than that of pre op5 (Operation 4)
We won’t know how the nerfs play until we actually play no, of course not, but that’s assuming any of you actually play the developer playlist and are willing to try it.

I remember watching the PVE stream, I don’t need to be reminded. In fact I don’t know why you keep reminding me of their excuses.
I’m just gonna agree to disagree, I swear you keep saying “But I know it’s gonna be better because I hope it is!”
But just ignore what I’ve said about being skeptical about things because we haven’t experienced them first hand. Micheal said it himself on the PVE stream.
You also never said it was negative, as a matter of fact you went on to reinforce getting more maps was an acceptable trade off.
I don’t want to discuss this with you any more.
