My claim that it takes 6 shots to kill was based on personal experience, shooting someone that was picking up a weapon 5 times in the head without them dying. Though, that may be because hitboxes can break when picking up weapons.

I never said it was. If you had asked me i would have said it was for meant for long range support.

The fire rate increase is nice, but the recoil and mag size changes it think only reinforce its role not as a slaying weapon but as long range support.

The real problem with the markza is that the lancer is just a better all around weapon. Maybe these changes are enough to make it better than it was but it just dont see why i would take it over a lancer.

The boltok comment was aimed at if its damage became too high it not only replaces the boltok but then it becomes like Gow 4 markza which was insane, though it was less accurate. Though honestly I don’t think 5 damage is that impactful

Yeah at close-medium range definitely I agree with you. Lancer all the way, but we’ll have to see just how impactful that ROF change is. We can’t really understand how fast it is until we get our hands on it. Still feel that at close range it should 2 shot headshot, but maybe it doesn’t need it. Aside from that, The only times I see it as a slaying weapon is if you go for headshots. With an active though that thing might be pretty crazy in this upcoming patch. Personally I don’t care too much whether it’s good or not since I personally prefer the boltok, but I am glad that hopefully it will be actually useable because current markza is literally useless

40 shots of garbage damage is still garbage. If they wanted to buff the buff the lancer they would increase its range before fall off damage kicked in

Very inefficient. The its literally faster/easier to kill someone by sneaking up on them with the gnasher

True. But the real problem with the lancer is that the Gnasher is just a better all around weapon too.
I hate the attitude of the community about it too. The consensus of the community is that if it isn’t the gnasher its a" support weapon".

I was stuck at silver 1 for 6 months but now i finally lost 7 games in a row in 2 vs 2 i made it to GOLD 1 !!!

I still have to ask…WTF was the point of that long ■■■ weapon tuning campaign in 4 if you were just throwing everything out come Gears 5?

Garbage or not garbage, when a team starts lancering with no mercy is a pain in the ■■■, and all this aim assist just doesn’t help

No. It was 100. Then the following week they doubled it 200 poke.

Everyone liked it at 100. But then they buff the sht out it. For no apparent reasoning.
Make it 100 poke and give us 8 clip gnashers ffs already. Its b.s. when your playing 2v2 and your opponent goes down . And now its 2 v 1 with 200 poke and your left with 6 bullets.
Cant wait for the new 2 v 2 maps and 150 poke. Hope it plays better.
2v2 is all i play now

100 poke was DIVINE. Hope with 150 will be amazing too.
When that nerf was released I have played nonstop for a week, it was almost perfect… Then they changed it, and the magic was gone.

That’s basically pre-patch Lancer. Just without the stronger aim assist and actives.

Thats exactly where it should be. People justly just ■■■■■■■ about the AR. TC has a tendency to overnerf things. They should have just needed the actives and waited for the data before needing it’s damage at range.

Tell me why anyone would use the lancer at range when there’s a damage falloff and the target can just get into cover.

It is literally more effective to bust out the shotgun and get in close for the gib.

What does “all shots will now land consistently” mean exactly? Better hit detection? Consistent spread/angle of the pellets? Consistent angle of the Gnasher when moving around corners or coming out of a wall slide? It’d be nice to know in detail.

I like that idea. No damage increase for active, just faster reload speed. That be awesome. All skill gameplay.

Please return KOTH ring capture points back to 300. Its an incentive for players to try anf capture the ring instead of focusing solely on kills. Thanks!
