That too, but I often don’t really found myself needing only one more Boomshot or missile unless it was in the early waves before any lockers were out and I was just using them sparingly or where needed only. Though I guess that is redundant when you could just use all the ammo of the Lancer/Boomshot(post/Op 3 launch) and kill yourself with JDs ult, not that I play him at this point.

I don’t see how many more they could bring.

And I fail to see why anyone would buy a Mulcher of all things. It’s already not great when Lizzie uses it in the Silverback. Nearly useless outside of it.

I haven’t played in a while so I don’t remember, but can Marcus buy a Retro Lancer since his Lancer card now covers the Retro and Original Lancer?

He already can. It will also cover the newer Lancer GL.

Regarding new maps for horde - Why dont they release say 3 horde maps based on the escape tiles? There are at least 3 different styles to touch on so aesthetically they would be different. Surely these could get turned around reasonably quickly? - They could do this mid season.

If I was this slow at my job I would be fired. They continue to keep pushing for what they want and not what the people who actually play the game want.

Is like they are intentionally trying to make it as un fun as possible.

What games do TC play? Like a filing taxes game or something? Because that is how much fun this ■■■■ is now.

Because it just gives us a new mode to play with broken things. How fun is that?

It’s called a game. They very definition of a game is something to do with others while having fun.

This game is nothing like this. Stop making your gears game and instead make a gears game for the fans. It’s not your damn game anyway. You only got it because Epic was done.

“Fun” is subjective. I have fun playing Gears 5, sure I have my gripes, but it’s still fun to me.
Also your definition of game is off.

Exactly, and those who still try to defend this, there’s no words to manifest my anger. Yesterday in in a random horde the game crashed again after weeks of no issues, an Application error 1000 on Windows 10, recently formated with the latest patches and drivers. I’m tired. A friend of mine has the same issue but on Xbox One, is insane. Other issues has they aren’t able to fix the leatherboards of previous hives with the arid gale skins rewards like the hunters…
I didn’t have this kind of conflicts with similar games with survival modes like Resident Evil Mercenaries or Unreal Tournament 2004 Invasion mode (yes a horde mode made by Epic Games before Gears was even created)
Better take a look at World War Z, a lof better, free on Epic Store and with huge discount on Xbox One store and with cross play, some friends.
Isn’t coincidence some friends of mine and many gears fans are moving forward to games like Resident Evil 6, L4D 2, or coming back to COD, BF,
Oh, and for those who say they have fun with Gears 5, Me too! I enjoyed more crappy games in the past but doesn’t mean than I agree in their decisions or admit they’re good games, only a few features are decent
I don’t need to bear them, but I’m still here because Gears of War is my favorite franchise over the rest. I’ll gradually stop play this.

COLLECTING POWER SHOULD BE AUTOMATIC !

No one likes to run across the map EVERY SINGLE ROUND to collect power !

Who collects power when there’s Jack? This is not Gears 4. Jack gives way more power from smelting, than from picking them up. When Jack picks up weapons to smelt, it will come close to the power on ground.

People actually pick jack ??? I can only imagine how boring that is …

Gears 4 had some insanely good cards for scout who could pick all the power in just a couple seconds …

Can you please make it so that we can pick the base weapons we spawn with like in all the other gears? Lancer, hammerburst & retro with gnasher.

Plenty of people do. At least in the matches I play people often pick up most power drops until the later waves and only then stop if there is a decent stockpile at that point. Which there should be if your engi isn’t wasteful.

And it’s not like having more extra power hurts…

They most likely won’t do it, maybe hammerburst but not retro because I believe it’s a pickup on some maps. Hammerburst is a pickup too on allfathers but it could easily be changed. I’d like it for the hammerburst to be added to default.

It seems for TC its the other way around, to make a game that allows you NOT to have any fun. .

Gears 5 its the least fun game of all the series for sure…
