SERIOUSLY , THE COALITION SHOULD OPEN THE REGIONS SO THAT EVERYONE CAN PLAY RANKED GAMES AND SPECIAL EVENTS TOO. DONT YOU THINK ITS A LITTLE UNFAIR AND BASICALLY RACIST TO NOT ALLOW EVERYONE THE PRIVILEDGE OF PLAYING THESE GAMES INSTEAD OF LIMITING TO A FEW???

TC do understand the players frustrations.
I’m in the same boat but they have moved onto Gears 5.
The best and right thing to do for Season 7 and these challenge rewards would have been to relax or remove Strict Matchmaking and Open Region Selector as game is EOL now.
But I’m hoping lessons are learnt for 5.
I know. I still have not been able to find a game to get the Esports Kait. I watched the stream and did that easily enough but can’t find a game at all. it truly sucks that there isn’t a work around for it.
I don’t think it’s racist… Unfair, maybe… But I don’t think they are locking regions based on a regions race or ethnicity.

They did it in good faith but it just doesn’t work in principle nor is it practical.

I get your frustration because I’ve been there waiting more than 30 minutes to find a match just because: I wanted to play GoW and not other game, period.
But also if magically you got matched after that one you might wait again a lot or the game matchmaking just dies .
Most regions but North America have quite a low playerbase percentage, including few or only one server and ppl from different countries mixed together with varied pings (still manageable from 15 to 100, but you can feel the difference from those who enjoy lower pings because server proximity or glitches (¡?) from connections issues and internet’s architecture).
Low playerbase is also a problem because you get to play the same ppl over and over again. It might help in a way but will also hurt, it can get annoying. Having some diversity and also getting matches with better players won’t happen.
So, I do agree with the idea of opening regions. STILL there’s a huge problem. Locals always have advantage (try Gears 3 or UE comming from another region).
It’s horrible playing with that ammount of ping, and it’s not anyones fault, it is what it is.
Some players might have it better, specially if they aren’t that far from the populated server or have very good internet, but still is not the mayority.
The best would be having a big community in our own regions (not easy at all) and play the game as fair as possible or maybe;the game matching together those from different regions with similar ping so the difference isn’t huge and you can find matches easier.
Playing laggy still sucks…
In short: is it better playing laggy that not playing at all? Yeah, I would say so. But for how long? Good teams will probably sandbag you in the end. Still, you had the chance to choose

Nowadays the new word to get peoples attenion is (RACIST)so they use this word and think the’ll get whatever they want fast,this word will become meaningless if people keep abusing it this way.

Was going to support this until I saw the term “racist” used ignorantly. Abusing that word whenever you want to throw a tantrum does an injustice to victims of actual racism.
